Just took my cat for his first checkup in salt lake, as well as to get some help introducing my adult cat to another I would be moving in with. Lindsay was great over the phone as well as in person and very helpful. I was scared bringing him in as he can be pretty reactive and high anxiety. Dr. Bellman handled him very professionally and kept him calm throughout even outside of his cage. Would recommend this place to anyone.

DO NOT TAKE EXOTIC PETS HERE My senior rabbit has been going here for 2-3 years, chronic weepy eyes and a lump on her jaw, did everything i was told and nothing helped my poor baby. ALSO she was handled extremely poor. No consideration for her age by just handling her really rough and PULLING HAIR OFF HER EYES I left with my rabbit bleeding multiple times. Do not believe them when they say they can take exotic animals. They don't know how to handle/treat them at all.

I only trust Bellman. The other vets at this location are fast and loose with cats. My kitten is so sweet and not aggressive in any way yet the vet wanted to treat her like she was rabid. Restraining and stabbing her so hard with the vaccine that it punctured her and went out the other side. He didn't care about traumatizing her. He was rushing to get to another cat that needed to be spayed. I really hope that cat is okay after the rushed man-handling we experienced. He needs to take a breath.

My fiance and I took our senior cat in here to get some routine vaccinations. Lindsay at the front desk was very nice both in-person and over the phone. We were pretty appalled at the treatment from the doctor, however. As other reviewers have said, he was rude, borderline condescending, and interrupted everything we said repeatedly. Our cat was obviously incredibly stressed and this was only amplified when he threw a towel on top of him, pinned him to the table and harshly injected him while he was screaming. I understand the need to be firm with animals that don’t want to be at the vet and are acting up, but this was another level of callousness. We both couldn’t believe it and couldn’t wait to get out of there. We have since found a new vet that is the polar opposite, which is why I was reminded of this experience and wanted to warn others.

Lindsay is the best!! She's so helpful on the phone and in person. I've been bringing my cat here since we moved into the neighborhood over 5 years ago. They provide great, affordable care.
