Petco

I moved from Largo to Seminole and came into Petco in Seminole City Center . I was very impressed and pleased to find a super friendly as well as knowledge staff. Tony is excellent with his knowledge and he helps you figure out what you do and don't need and goes into detail so you can ubderstand. I really felt cared for And everyone has a good attitude and smiles and are friendly Also, Katie checked me out and explained the programs where I was going to save money with all my pets and earn points with are a good value at Petco. So ,I have to say after that 8 even booked my car and dog at there vet in house due to how 8 was treated on my first visit and subsequent 2nd and 3rd visits. I would recommend this store for all your pets needs. First class!! .

Any business that operates with pets and living beings should be held accountable to the highest quality of life of their animals. I understand mistakes happen and some animals will pass away at times. However, after reading recent reviews, it seems like this is an ongoing issue at this store. I found 2 dead fish in two different tanks (1-3 photos), one tank only had one of the oxygen supplies working (4-5 photos), lastly, some of the tanks are super dirty (6-7 photos). It clearly shows that the level of importance about their animals is not a priority and this needs to be addressed - SPECIALLY AFTER MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS. Someone needs to be held responsible for this animal cruelty. They’re not dealing with toys, those are living beings that did not ask to be there in the first place, and are not being treated well. I’m extremely disappointed about this place and something needs to change.

My boyfriend & I Went in to petco seminole to find a fish, specifically were interested in beta fish. We asked someone to help us and waited 20 minutes with no help, so we started looking ourselves, and every single fish was dead, probably besides three very sad we kept looking around and went to the turtles in a huge turtle was also dead in the tank. Very, very sad not sure why the world has become this way. So SO sad.

We typically visit the Petco on East Bay…. On the hunt for a good fit for a groomer. Went twice to that location with mixed feelings/experience. Opted to research other Petco locations for reviews. Brianna was mentioned in reviews as being wonderful. Prior to the day Brianna asked to come earlier for additional time as our boy is a puppy still. No problem and appreciated the offer. Upon arrival… we had wonderful energy, understanding and great customer service from Brianna. She continued to update us through the process, giving Stanley breaks throughout. When we picked him up she was just as wonderful and even put a bandana on our boy to complete the look. We absolutely rebooked with Brianna and are so happy with our experience. Thank you!! This store is well stocked, neat, and clean. There is always someone available at the register although it is not uncommon to have a pretty good wait because its just 1 person when they are busy often. The store staff are nice and helpful - always a long wait for crickets if they even have them instock. They often run out of crickets and worms. The animals all appear well cared for and the tanks and cages are clean. I wathed a puppy training class one day and the clients all seemed to be having a good time and learning new things. I have never used the grooming service but would like to try them. I gave it a 4 because of the understaffing and excessive wait times I have experience because it is a regular issue. If that were corrected the store would be a 5. The products are pricey. I don't feel like I am getting the best deal on my dog food here but its convenient so I keep buying it there.
