I wish I had read the reviews and never took my dog here for grooming. I had never had an issue till my most recent visit. My dog went for a grooming and was taken to the hospital due to his dewclaw being ripped when he was asked to get on the grooming table. They took care of the hospital bill and had offered to take care of his next service but when he was taken they said they already comp’d the service that he did not get to finish. Despite the inconvenience of my dog needing to heal, inconveniencing someone else to bring my dog into the groom because I had already used leave to take him in the first place, and the skin issues resurfacing because of the inability to get a regular bath I would have thought they would show more compassion to the situation. You are better off going somewhere else or doing it at home because if you care about your dog’s well being I would not feel safe with them here.

Great Petco! I was greeted warmly upon entering the store and got everything I needed. The young man who checked me out was very cheerful and friendly, and I left with such a good impression though I’ve shopped there many times. The store was very clean, organized, and well-stocked, as usual. Thanks for a great shopping experience!

I had an awesome experience buying a Pleco fish today. The staff were friendly ANd very helpful. I would definitely recommend this pet store location to anyone.

I’m honestly really upset about my experience with Jennifer at Petco. When I picked up my dog, I immediately noticed multiple areas of redness, raw skin, and what look like burns on his body that were NOT there before his appointment. This is completely unacceptable. My dog went in healthy and came out hurt. There’s no reason a basic grooming appointment should leave a dog with injuries like this. It’s really concerning and shows a lack of care. I’m going to be taking him to the vet to get this checked out and will be following up about what happened. I also have photos documenting everything. I strongly recommend people double check their pets after grooming here. I trusted them with my dog’s safety, and now I’m dealing with the aftermath of this.

Sent my two senior dogs there to be groomed. Upon completion the assigned groomer proceeds to advise that I send them to a veterinarian to be groomed. I asked for a summer cut and my dog’s back was shaved bald. Her hair is growing back in, but it looks terrible. We will never go back.
