I've been taking my pets to be groomed at petco for a few years already. Never had an issue. Recently got a new pup. We waited for her to be fully vaccinated and get her rabbies shot before taking her anywhere for a nail trim. Went to petco a couple weeks ago to see if they do walk ins for nail trimming. The groomer said yes and all I needed was my dogs vaccine book or photo proof that she had gotten her rabbies shot. I didn't have it on me and wasn't able to make it back in until today. Today it was a different groomer. I took my pups vaccine book and she asked my pups age (4 months). She then told me I needed documentation from the vet as proof that she has gotten her rabbies shot because the sticker in her booklet wasn't enough. I told her that the previous groomer I spoke with didn't tell me that. She said that because my dog is 4 months they can't take her without documentation. They can only take pups younger than 4 months with just the vaccine book, but dogs 4 months and older need documents. As I said at the beginning I've been taking my other dog to petco for a few years. Every time I've had to show proof of rabies I've always only used her booklet. They have never told me I needed actual documents. That is what the vaccine book is for. Girl today just didn't want to tend to my puppy.

Great service! I left my dog with Celine, she treated my dog great and with care, she also explained to me how my dog did on her bath! I will definitely be going back.

I shop here frequently and have spent hundreds of dollars here. Some associates are rude and dismissing for no reason, even if you've shown nothing but respect to them. The associates in particular that are rude were two 20 year old women working the night of this review.

The online/app purchase program works well but the biggest setback is the regular unavailability of products. Items show available at initial purchase then more often than not, end up being cancelled due to not being in stock. Finally, employee engagement is average at best. At times the employees are unavailable and lack a friendly response when engaged.

I saw all the reviews and high hopes for the haircut. To say the least, it was not what we were expecting. we asked for a TEDDY BEAR face, but instead, she cameback with God knows what face that was. This was her with the long hair before, and that was her after. We honestly shouldn't have cut her hair. And for $90 I understand it was full package but was not expecting that. Anyways, Happy Easter, yall😔😒
