Petco

Petco is a decent store for general pet supplies, but I wish they kept a better selection of Royal Canin cat food in stock. I often have to order it online instead of being able to quickly pick it up in-store when I run out. Other than that, the store is clean, and I've had good experiences shopping for my other pet care needs.

We’ve been patients of Dr. Rubin and the Vetco New Tampa team for almost a year, and our experience has been excellent from the very beginning. Dr. Rubin has cared for both of our dogs, Boots and Ella, and we have always felt confident that they are in good hands. Boots has struggled with seasonal allergies, which required several visits and multiple adjustments to his treatment plan over time. Dr. Rubin worked with us through different treatment options, taking the time to monitor his progress and make changes when needed. Thanks to that dedication and persistence, Boots’ allergies finally seem to be under control, and we couldn’t be more grateful. What stands out most is the care and compassion shown by both Dr. Rubin and the staff. Their pet-side manner is loving, attentive, and responsive. They take the time to answer questions, explain recommendations, and make sure both pets and pet parents feel comfortable during every visit. As a family with two dogs, we’ve also found the Petco Vital Care Premier program to be a tremendous value. Veterinary care can become expensive quickly, and the program has helped offset costs while ensuring Boots and Ella receive the care they need. Finding a veterinarian you trust is important, and we feel fortunate to have found Dr. Rubin and the team at Vetco New Tampa. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate veterinary care.

Had another customer sneak up on me and my dog and then complain when my dog barked at them. I apologized for the inconvenience and went to the check out to leave. I then had staff member sneak up on us from behind to illicit the same reaction. Admittedly the young woman scared me getting so close to me from behind. I turned and put my dog in a sit and she calmed down. It was so embarrassing to get dressed down at checkout for trying to be mindful of others and asked to not bring my dog back to petsmart. Plenty of other pet stores that carry purina kibble and Kong toys. If you’re working on training dogs this place is not friendly to your business.

I’m very disappointed at grooming salon I would never came back there not only charge me $123dollars but Chris is not nice at all, she try to tell me my goldendoodle need to be brush before we get there if I don’t want to be cut all the way his hair is the way she said it what it get me, at the end of my conversation I said to her at least you can smile she didn’t look at me. Our pets are like a child we leave him thinking you will treat them like a one. I been at petco since 2003 im very sad. It took exactly 2 hours to do the job and not even smell like clean sorry I should know better because Chris has always an issue this is not the first time she take care of Coco. Get a different job if you don’t like what you do now.

An associate named Chris was very helpful with me and my cat's wet food found him to be very knowledgeable and very helpful some associates seemed rude cashier I was trying to buy a clearance item for my cat which was advantis for which was on sale for $30 originally cost $90 understand it was a clearance but I asked is there anything you would compensate because there were so many on the shelf and he's like no that's it very cold and rude I did not appreciate that but Chris was very good and I went somewhere else and purchased the advantage for my cat I wish I would have been able to buy it at my local Petco
