(from Google)No pay station at the park. No cash accepted. They require sign up to a site and give them a whole load of information that is completely unnecessary for a simple walk in a park. Rangers at the entrance are very pleasant, they acknowledge it's a stupid system, and they are tired of seeing people leave the place, but they can't do anything about it.
Friendly for all sorts of adventurers. I trekked the dirt path with my 5 year old as avid beginners to trails. We encountered a well-maintained trail with pleasant parking and signage. Kid friendly, dog friendly, even equestrian friendly.
Easy hike, absolutely beautiful, especially after the rains come and everything turns green and it feels like you're in Ireland.
Such a fun, easy to moderate hike! Beautiful views, easy to navigate, and even saw 2 waterfalls along the way. Make sure to bring lots of water and go to the bathroom beforehand because there are none on the trail. Oh, and beware of horse poop lol!! Overall, it was a beautiful hike!! ๐
Pamela was extremely kind and helpful!! $4 to reserve a spot however this is only required on weekends and holidays - along with selecting different times for more $$. The walking trails are straight forward. Full tranquility experience.
