Pistol Creek

This is a 77 acre park that was once a golf course so it is expansive with paved golf cart trails. The trails are mostly in Berlin but behind the clubhouse the more challenging ones go into Middletown as well. The front entrance is a parking lot. If you cross the street the trails are a bit easier (flat and less steep hills) and includes a fenced in (off leash) area for dogs to play. This place is great for running, biking, strollers, walking, or dog walking.

A great place if you're dog needs lots of area to run. One enclosed area just no shade. However, many paved trails in the area for leashed walking.

I LOVE this trail! I found it on the app AllTrails to find places to walk/hike with my dog. This trail is perfect for anyone. Especially since it’s paved! But it doesn’t take away from the sprawling landscape allowing ample shade along the way. (As well as benches!) Speaking from a dog owner perspective I give it 10 ⭐️’s!!! It has the PERFECT ratio of pavement/grass/trees & shade! I was surprised by a dog park about half way through!! Very simple dog park long rectangular fenced in area. No shade. Just grass. I personally opted out of the dog park but not because there’s anything wrong- just my choice. We took a break under a tree in its shade and had water before continuing on. I have nothing negative to report about my experience here. Def try it! *Level Easy 2miles

A nice walk down winding paved trails (old golf course paths / no ticks!) Lots of benches to rest at, past some neighborhoods and an active farm with cows, lots of streams, a few wooden bridges & picturesque fields with rolling hills. They also have a pretty big dog park, too. Plenty of parking with a port-a-potty.
