(from Google)Normally, this trail is fine. You park at the entrance and walk right in. It's nice, quiet, and relaxing. Tried to go today and an unleashed dog started barking at us and another group that parked after us. An old lady eventually emerges from a nearby driveway and starts claiming the dog is barking at us because we parked on her property? Even though we parked in the tiny gravel lot next to the trail. She then continues onto the trail with her dog, which was kind of threatening, too. I'm sorry, but you can't live next to a trail, without any posted signs, if you're gonna be crazy about parking. I feel like she was just lying about it being their property and/or being delusional, but what do I know lol. Either way, not welcomed.
It was beautiful! Found some mushrooms and some wild Venus fly traps
The houses are so cool on the road leading up! The hike is a little steep at some spots, but nothing an experienced hiker can't handle. Lots of mushrooms and fungus!
Great place to hike even took our 1 and a half year old son there
Went there March 2020. Very beautiful place! Clear water, nice hiking route. Went there early spring and it is such a scene to enjoy! Not many people there, just a few parking spots, a really sweet place to spend time.
