(from Google)Great hike just be mindful of the color coded trail blazes and enjoy the atmosphere.
Raven Cliff Falls Overlook Trail is located within Cesar’s Head State Park. The trailhead is located across the street from the Raven Cliff Falls parking lot. It’s a moderate hike that’s about 4.5 miles round trip (in & out trail). The trail is well maintained & includes some stairs. I believe the total incline is about 850 feet. At the end of the trail there is an overlook platform to see the tallest waterfall in South Carolina. Dogs are allowed on the trail.
just visiting but pretty sure one of the best hikes in the area, great lake views, mild inclines, waterfalls, great times
Beautiful hike, well marked, wide trail, there’s just the right amount of elevation gain to keep it interesting in my opinion. Plenty of views of the valley and adjacent mountains and the waterfall at the end. My GPS watch recorded 3.8 miles round trip.
I wanted a taste of fall leaves and a nice easy hike before a conference. This was it! Easy path, up and down a bit with hills but nothing strenuous. Just over 2 miles to the falls viewpoint and then back. Highly recommend and was dog friendly!
