Saw some deer and looked great but couldn't go as far as I would have liked to because it was still really wet from rain. There are patches of pine trees. Can't wait to go when those trees are full. Could smell some pine. Will definitely go back to venture through the whole trail. Good location.

Lovely place in Fenton to trail. You can easily go with your kids to the short trails, though they are not that long any of them. We spot a couple of deers usually and lots of fungi!!!! Pretty easy to walk def fam friendly and trail beginners. Parking space is limited only a couple of cars can fit there.

This is my new favorite nature trail. Very smooth walking for long distances covered and easy for older dogs to walk with as well. We saw like 20 deer today! All unafraid and were super interested in us. There is geocaching here as well. Walk until you find your spot and just enjoy the woods. Trust me, this is the place to spend a Sunday. Oh also, more than enough trees to block nasty cold gusts and light rain. So lucky to have found.

Absolutely a beautiful and entact nature preserve. Several miles of dirt trails. Dog on leash are PERMITTED. Bring plenty of water. No trash disposal containers, so whatever you bring in, please bring out. Take only picture's and leave only footprints. It is asked to stay on the trails to continue to preserve the woodland. All manner of animals... birds including owls that begin hooting at dusk, squirrels, turtles, deer. Suggestion: try to be silent as you explore the trails and listen... odds are you'll hear leaves softly being stepped upon and in that direction you may well spot a Whitetail Deer. ABSOLUTELY NO FEEDING THE ANIMALS AS DOING SO CREATES A RISK OF SUBSTANTIAL INJURY INCLUDING DEATH. Entry can be made of Dauner Dr. (about a half mile down from Leroy) and to enter from the rear, there's a descrete drive next to VGs on Leroy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wildly stunning nature preserve.

Love it here. Nice and secluded. Not too many people so it's a relaxing area and fairly expansive. Great for dogs and you can even have a picnic in the summer in the right spots.
