Anne Springs Close Greenway - Adventure Road

Anne Springs Close Greenway has become one of my favorite go-to spots for chill romantic walks with my husband 🌿💕. We’ve had so many cute picnic dates here — just grabbing a blanket, some snacks, and enjoying long walks, good conversations, and peaceful nature vibes. It’s one of those places where you show up for a quick stroll and end up staying for hours because it’s just so relaxing. We even organized a small group picnic with friends along with a fun hiking day, and it turned into such a great memory — plenty of space, beautiful scenery everywhere, and perfect spots to sit, relax, and laugh together. The trails are clean, well-marked, and great whether you want an easy walk or a little adventure. The yearly membership is totally worth it if you go often — super convenient for spontaneous date days without worrying about entry fees, plus access to events and activities. Overall it’s peaceful, well-maintained, and honestly just a perfect little outdoor escape for couples, friends, or anyone needing a nature reset 🌳✨.

Very nice park with lots to do including a nine-hole disc golf course. Very easy. Mostly for beginners or intermediate who want ACES!

This is less frequented entrance, but it’s still very good! We did the archer’s loop, and it was awesome!!

My dogs loves the park. They get goofy I'm so happy every single time knowing that they're about to go to the park. They have a big pond that the dogs can swim and they love it in the summertime especially. The only thing I don't like when it's winter time they have to turn off the water for the dogs can drink. Today (September, 03 2025) went to the park they turn the water off without any warning. It is not a big thing but at least tell people right before they turn off the water.

2500 acres of pristine Prairie and Woodland meticulously preserved. There are several trails. This review refers to Mill Pond, Prairie Loop and the lake Hagler Loop. The Mill pond and prairie trail is mostly solitary. I have seen a few people walking on the trail and a few cyclists. Occasionally, the trail runs close to the road where you will hear the traffic buzz, but majority of it is fairly pristine. The trail runs along a small creek. There is a 1700s millstone on display that lent the name mill to Fort Mill. The trail alternates between Prairie and the Woodland. The Haigler loop on the other hand is fairly busy with several young families. There is a cafeteria that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff throughout the Greenway are very friendly. Very clean restrooms, which probably alone explains the $14 entry fee.
