(from Google)Great hike—we did it in February with a 7-year-old. We originally planned to take a shorter route but missed the turn and ended up on a longer trail. Some sections were a bit challenging, but overall it was a very enjoyable hike. Most of the way you walk under tree cover, which is nice. At the top, there’s a great spot for lunch. The views are beautiful—mountains and a view over Palo Alto Bay. There aren’t many flowers or scenic plants along the trail; the only wildlife we spotted was a lizard.
Excellent hike for families that has small kids. Multiple paths with varying difficulty. Nice guess. It also has animal farm that you can see sheeps, cows, pigs and goats. Overall it was a great weekend hike.
Thank you for a great field trip for our Canine Companions South Bay Chapter Puppy Class! We loved meeting the sheep, pigs, and piglets. Your garden is gorgeous!
The trails are very quite and have dense flora. The lizards can be spotted on the trail as you go beyond grapeville junction. The hidden villa is a good picnic spot for families. You get to see livestock and old agricultural machines.
* kids friendly * Ample parking space. * Clean restroom * Many picnic tables * Pet friendly. Pets should be on leash on the trails *Reservation needed. There is a small fee. * lots of trails within 2 miles distance, makes it easier with kids/toddlers. The trails are not stroller friendly, at least the once we took * Picturesque. * Lots of photospots in the farm and in the trails for good Instagramable pictures. * Farm animals and vegetable garden is a plus
