(from Google)This is a wonderful section of woods in the Bryn Mawr neighborhood of Minneapolis with a beautiful, publicly owned pathway and trail network that is much loved and used by the local residents as well as the students of the nearby elementary and pre-school (but is open to all!). It has old growth trees, a beautiful pond and connects to the larger Theodore Wirth Park. Dog walkers, skiers, runners, hikers and people of all abilities love these woods, the habitat they provide for wildlife and the positive environmental impact they have as part of the urban tree canopy. A beautiful part of a beautiful city! Come check them out!
This is a beautiful patch of woodland, providing habitat for wildlife, a popular hiking/ski trail, education for nearby students, and innumerable other benefits. Minneapolis is uniquely blessed with extensive public lands, but we must actively work to preserve access to those lands.
Wonderful wooded area that needs preservation of the trees and puplic access protected.
Beautiful woods in all seasons!
Pretty chill. Other than the crazy man in a weird jumpsuit coat hybrid, it looks great! I think he's gone, haven't seen him since he jumped into the pond. Beware the poison ivy, and don't get scared when you see the silhouette of a circle of children.
