(from Google)Really enjoyed this trail featuring different native ecosystems than the beach most are used to. It’s beautiful, easy to navigate, flat, and has many trails of varying distances.
A Florida Nature Escape Exploring Gayle's Trails Park's orange trail was a fantastic way to experience Florida's natural beauty. We enjoyed a smooth ride, facilitated by the Aventon Adventure.2 e-bikes, which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the scenery. The trail offered stunning views and wildlife encounters, making it a memorable outdoor adventure.
My baby brother and I explored this amazing park and Ranger Tannyr stopped to see if we had any questions because I’m sure we looked lost. She was incredible, told us how to find the amazing boardwalks (couldn’t imagine building them) through the swamps to get close up of all the trees, and wildlife. We loved this place and will definitely return.
Nice little park in the woods of Florida, plenty of area to walk/run/bike. - alligators - lizards - boardwalk - clean bathrooms - quiet and relaxing Overall a great place to be in nature and get away from the city. Lots of beautiful areas to sit down and read and plenty of of trails for runnings/ biking. Recommend visiting in the morning to see more wildlife
Great place to get off the beach , Good for walking dogs, bike riding, hiking trail running. with 24 miles of roads,/trail and has a 5 mile paved double track on 3000 acres of mixed pine and wetlands. Really flat so after big rain could have some mud and standing water. There are boardwalks thru some of the wetlands you could see snakes , alligator, butterflies , bear ,hogs, armadillos, ducks .Good trail signage ,maps and bathrooms.
