Pretty easy hike to the lower falls. Altitude may affect your hike, but for those used to this altitude it's a pretty chill walk out and back. It's beautiful and we saw a few whitetail deer. There were some tracks of a much larger hoofed animal rumored to be a large male moose, so be careful.

Beautiful trail, I really enjoyed the fall foliage. Next year I plan to come the first week of October in hopes to be able to see the trees full of leaves. Most leaves had already fallen. Still very beautiful. We started the hike at 8:47and were done by 10:45 AM. There was plenty of parking at the time by the time we finished the parking lot was full. They do have restrooms in the parking area. The day we came there was no park entry fee. I’m sure during spring time the waterfall has more water. Would love to come back to see that!

We had a great family adventure hiking this trail yesterday with my three kiddos (ages 11, 8, and 3)! It’s a lovely path with plenty of shade to keep things cool, but heads up—it’s on the rugged side with lots of roots and rocks to navigate. I was a bit surprised that such a popular spot doesn’t seem to get much upkeep, which made some sections feel a tad neglected. There are quite a few ups and downs along the way, so it’s a good workout! Parking at the bottom can be tricky, so I’d recommend arriving early or being patient while waiting for a spot to open up. We took just under 4 hours round-trip to the falls and back at a leisurely pace—perfect for little legs. Overall, a fun outing if you’re up for a bit of challenge!

Beautiful hike! Fall colors are loud and vibrant! Trail was a little rocky. Took me 1 hours there and 45 min back. Dogs are allowed.

Spectacular Fall views, all along the way! It’s the perfect time of year to go to Stewart Falls! Once there, I highly recommend going on the a little more difficult upper trail to the upper Falls and too explore up there. Come with a little towel, and a swimsuit to go underneath the waterfalls as well! it’s a fun challenge. Easy, mostly level hike almost the whole way. Definitely a must do hike for anyone visiting Utah, or living here!
