(from Google)Visiting from Texas - it was great to experience the woods of Virginia so easily. Saw so much wildlife: squirrels, deer, many species of birds. Great interpretive info and easy, well-marked trails!
Great little nature preserve, close to everything! Nice trails, for different types of hiking. Gravel, mulch, paved. Stroller and handicapped accessible. Friendly staff!
The nature center has a lot of great trails. There are many signs and benches on the trails. It also has a building with animals in it. They also have pictures of animals that won awards.
Nice little trail in the back of this Nature Center. I didn't go inside, and walked the short trail in the back and the trail around the area. The area is very clean. It is also very dog friendly.
This was a great place to hike with my 2 year old. There were dirt paths and paved paths. You choose which way you want to go (or ask your 2 year old which way lol). Hiked 2 miles. Very nice. Will do this again. Not too many people on paths.
