(from Google)Very nice area to take your dog. Or just to go for a walk and bike ride by yourself! Definitely worth checking out if you love nature! Another nice place is the Fox River Walk in west Dundee/ Carpentersville area. That is similar to this place. You will definitely like the River Walk if you like it here!
We've traveled the country full-time in an RV for over a year. I've walked my dog in 26 states and over 65 different places - this is the best dog park anywhere. I look forward to EVERY TIME we come here.
Awesome Forest Preserve and a great hiking trail. The trail has decent inclines, and crossing the Fox River under the Red Gate Bridge is really cool, with great views. The trail is mostly paved but has a couple of boardwalks and crushed limestone sections. There's plenty of parking and a clean restoom.
My every morning walk with my dog Smokey. We love it and feel blessed to have this place to walk everyday. Dogs are off leash so if your dog has issues this is NOT the place for you.
I love this park! One side of the park is grass and the other side is gravel/pavement. The dogs have access to get in the river. The trails, pups, and people were nice. I can't wait to go back when it's warmer.
