Wendy Trail Head Thousand Oaks 08/08/2024 - I hadn’t been back to the waterfall since the rains this spring, suprisingly the waterfall and creek is still going!!! 😍 great hike I think close to 2 miles to the waterfall, fairly easy hike. Would recommend - warning we saw 2 rattle snakes on the trail this weekend.

Fabulous trail that connects to so many great hiking trails. There's a map at the beginning of the trailhead to help you plan which way to go. Right now there is water in the streams and the waterfall is flowing abundantly. It gets very muddy after a rain so be prepared. There is also a ton of poison oak on the trails that run along the stream and up at the waterfall. Remember "leaves of three, let them be!" Please help keep our trails beautiful and hike out any trash you may bring with you.

I was looking to make time before the Camarillo outlets opened and looked for surrounding trails.. Wendy popped up and I never knew it existed!! It was a beautiful trail with ferocious curves at times! It was well worth the grind though because once you make it to the top, the view is just unique! I really want to make it up to the stone (which I felt waa teasing me) but it seems like its a 3 to 4 hour journey to make it due to the structure of the trail.. Will definitely revisit soon!! * Note that it's an open trail, so lots of sun 🌞 * Take enough water to get you out and back (depending how far you'll want to go) * Respect the Land, and appreciate the FRESH AIR!!! ❤️‍🔥
