(from Google)Such a beautiful trail! I love bringing my dog here and seeing the animals. Today I saw a deer on the path and a rabbit
Enjoyed an impromptu hike out and back. Saw egrets and wild pigs. On a future visit, I'll map the area. Not much shade... bring water for humans and pets.
Enjoyed round trip bike ride on paved trail between Pundt park and Jesse Jones park. Clean, some shade, and not any steep hills. R/T 16 miles.
Really nice and relaxing environment!! May be too sun exposed in some areas, but Great in winter times!!
Great trails. Parking was good and seems safe as there were a decent number of people coming and going. The trails are in good condition and very nicely shaded. The opening portion is a grassy area for about a mile between the lakes before you get to the good stuff. All most all of the trail is single track with just a handful of challenging spots if you don’t have a true mountain bike, but overall very manageable even on our fat tire bikes. There are a few specific where the direction can be confusing but we found if you follow the blue markers on the trees and ask folks you will be good. Apparently there was a bridge over the spring creek ravine past Rob Fleming park but it was gone so you need to dismount and cross. We really enjoyed the trail end to end.
