Tyler Rose Garden

The Tailor Rose gardens are very beautiful during February. The blooms are not out. But the Facebook page will keep you updated with if the blooms are out. I hosted a Galentine’s picnic in the park under the gazebo. It was a treasure. This place is so beautiful during the summer seasons and I’m also happy that we got to enjoy it on a day that wasn’t too cold. 🥶

The kind of botanical gardens that is the gem of Tyler and an exemplary rose garden in all world! The attention to detail and layout of so many roses is a joy to observe and walk through. Numerous families, special memory photographs, and fellow travelers were casually enjoying the abundant late fall-early winter bloom.

The flowers had taken a beating due to rain storm. But overall beautiful. The bees and butterflies were out in force. The idea garden was inspiring. A couple was their having engagement photos taken!

When I went, all of the roses were no longer in bloom, but there were still some. I would still recommend visiting, nice walk throughout the grounds. Other things to see that are in full-bloom, a lot of nature buzzing and flying around. Plenty of sitting spots to take it all in and just relax for a few. Before exiting would highly recommend a donation to keep up the grounds is probably quite expensive.

We visited late this summer, so the roses were no longer in full bloom but it was still beautiful! The museum was quaint but really cool! I was born and raised in Texas and knew the gardens existed but didn't know the history. Can't wait to go back next year when the roses start blooming!
