(from Google)The water is very clear — you can easily see the fish and rocks. The natural scenery is beautiful, with plenty of trees providing shade and some sunlight coming through. If you want to sit in the sun while in the water, there are a few sunny spots; otherwise, it can feel a bit cold without direct sunlight. Unfortunately, beer is not allowed.
Across the street from the shops the area is free, plenty of picnic benches, some scattered Andironack Chairs. We've seen kids fishing here, dont know if they were successful or not! A great place for kids to run & play, a climbing net on the playground. The perfect locale for leashed dog walking, or simply rest on a bench and do watercolors!
Super pretty and fairly quiet despite how close it is to the hustle of the stores and restaurants nearby. They've added some kind of trampoline type playground and seating options since I last visited many years ago. It's a slightly rough rocky incline going up or down near the bridge.
Super trails for hiking and biking. Beautiful all around. The blue hole swimming area is here but is seasonal swimming. As the weather changes so do the trails they can be extremely dry or have some water flow. There was ample parking and they host super fun family events like trick or treat trails etc.
Nice little park with gigantic bald cypress trees and crystal clear waters , you cannot swim or fish here but a little up north in blue hole you are allowed
