Gorgeous 7 mile hike around the lake! Lots of wildlife: turtles Herren lots of ducks! Huge playground, been coming here for years! However, the bathrooms are in serious need of cleaning. The last couple times we’ve been here they have gotten worse and worse. Out of toilet paper out of soap and the women’s bathroom smells like an outhouse. Would be a real shame to see this go downhill!
Great easy trail with some hills. The trail is paved for about 3/4 of a Mile. The trail is 7 miles if you walk around the entire lake.
New to the area and I have to say my Dog and I love the park! So blessed to have this not far from my house. We love the scenic views while hiking. Looking forward to fishing there eventually. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is an awesome trailhead around the park. Great for hikers, joggers, bikers, and horses. It’s about 7 miles if you complete the full loop. There’s plenty of benches to sit around and enjoy the scenery. I’d highly recommend this trail to anyone anytime. I’ll definitely be going back.
