Beyond Obedience Dog Training

We trusted Jenny at Beyond Obedience with our new puppy, Cheese, for a two week Puppy Primer program. Cheese was a very timid, very fearful puppy who lacked basic training. Jenny helped get us started on a solid foundation by beginning training with basic obedience and commands, but more importantly she helped to build Cheese’s confidence and tolerance of the unknown and socialized in him ways that we were un able to in those first few weeks. I was extremely happy with the progress I saw after those first two weeks and am excited to continue with the training techniques that Jenny started for us. She sent cute pictures everyday and updates on his progress the entire time. We never had concerns that Cheese wasn’t living his BEST life while at school. I would highly recommend Jenny to anyone interested in dog training services.

Just had our first night with our puppy back and he’s a different dog. I’m an animal lover, but before training I was regretting rescuing Louie. He was reactive and a level of energetic I haven’t seen. I googled, ChatGPTed, and tried every training I could think of and he was still so unruly. That’s when we knew we needed a professional trainer. I have to admit, I thought there was no way that in just a couple weeks Jenny could turn Louie into a manageable dog. But SHE DID! She was so good at communicating and keeping us updated on progress. I got videos of her training Louie to show me what to do in the future. He got an individualized schedule for me to follow, which is so helpful. She has so many resources for us to continue to feel supported even after he comes home. Overall, 100% recommend Jenny. She’s so awesome! So good at communicating. And great support once he gets home. And the most important, Louie is a changed dog for the better.

When we first started looking for a trainer, we felt completely overwhelmed. We have a Great Dane who was extremely stubborn, and we honestly didn’t know what else to do. We were also completely transparent with her about our situation, and Jenny worked with us and gave us the time we needed. When we finally dropped off Marnie for board and train, we were nervous and didn’t know what to expect but Jenny immediately made us feel comfortable. She checked in on us regularly, reassured us, and made sure both we and Marnie were doing well. Throughout the entire board and train process, Jenny sent pictures, videos, and updates. Her communication was amazing. The training videos were incredibly helpful, and if I ever had a question, she either sent me a more detailed video or took the time to give me a thorough explanation. It never felt rushed or impersonal she truly cared. When we picked Marnie up, Jenny went above and beyond. She spent several hours at our home educating us, walking us through commands, and explaining what to expect going forward. Even after that, when we had a few challenges, Jenny met with us again and helped us with additional training tips and guidance. The difference in Marnie is truly unbelievable. She is a completely different dog, in the best way possible. What once felt overwhelming now feels manageable and positive. At times, training can feel like a lot, but it is 100% worth it, and Jenny makes it an incredible experience. Jenny continues to check in on us and genuinely roots for Marnie’s success. She doesn’t just train dogs she truly loves and cares about every single one she works with. She is patient, honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about what she does. I cannot thank Jenny enough for everything she has done for us and for Marnie. Words truly can’t express how grateful I am. If you are searching for a dog trainer who genuinely cares and delivers real results, Jenny is the one.

I cannot say enough good things about Jenny at Beyond Obedience. We came to her with our 5 year old Doberman who was skittish, anxious, and reactive around other dogs. Jenny is the best Dog Trainer ever! She is so caring and so knowledgeable about dog behavior and training techniques. With my busy schedule, I knew that a board + train was the best option for Lizzie. I reached out to Jenny to work on Lizzie’s dog reactivity, leash walking, and anxiety. She helped make a custom training plan for Lizzie and what her and I needed to learn. Lizzie made great improvement, even in just her two weeks at training. Jenny updated me every day of her training with pictures and videos. She walked me through everything I needed to be doing at home to implement the training that Lizzie had learned and equipped me with all of the materials and resources needed.
