I adopted this love bug from Wags and Whiskers. I live in New England and travelled across the country to pick her up. W&W allowed my dog to stay with them for a few extra days while I was arranging the travel, and provided the full health records. The adoption fee was reasonable, W&W people are kind and helpful, my dog is healthy and happy. I had a great experience with Wags and Whiskers!

I recently adopted an adult Chiweenie dog from Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue. They rescued the dog from Central California before he was set to be euthanised, and he was with them for six months prior to my adopting him. I got to meet him via video call as I live in Southern California. The adoption fee was $295, and it covered his vaccinations and neuter. Medical records were sent as soon as the fees were paid. One amazing thing about this organisation is they transported him to me. The dog endured a 10-hour car drive, and he was shy and anxious at first but immediately warmed up to me within hours; he is now my velcro dog. I was not sure what to expect from a rescue dog initially, but I have had a Chiweenie before so I knew the temperament and tendencies. The dog seemed to be trained, and I was really impressed with how quickly he understood things around the home and adjusting to his new surroundings. It is a testament to the care, effort, and time they put into the animals they rescue. Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue did a great job with my dog. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with them. I would adopt from them again and recommend them to those looking to give shelter animals a second chance.

We’ve recently adopted 2 dogs from Wags and Whiskers, one in may and one just today. The process was easy and the dogs are both friendly and healthy. They had an amazing foster family caring for them before us. So thankful we found such amazing pups from this rescue

The foster parents here are very caring and do a great job. We just adopted Winky a few days ago and she has been our little ray of sunshine. I’d highly recommend adopting from here, we had a great experience!
