(from Google)We just completed our 10 sessions yesterday and Cheryl has transformed our relationship with our dog. He was already the best boy ever, but he had some behaviors we wanted to adjust and we were struggling to train him even with basic skills. Cheryl offered a consultation (the price went toward our package when we bought more sessions), and really demonstrated an ability to understand our dog and how he works right away. We're leaving our 10 sessions empowered and equipped to continue training him in the future because she helped us understand what he needs to be successful.
Cheryl was great! Easy to schedule with, flexible hours, and always positive. I appreciated her specific instructions on how to give commands and how to reward my dog in a way that he understands and will follow. She responded to questions outside of our training session if I needed it, and was happy to address the specific behavior goals I wanted (teaching my dog to stay out of the kitchen during meals was amazing). She went the extra mile—even coming with me to an assisted living center to give my dog a taste of being a therapy dog.
What a paw-some experience! We just completed our sessions. I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. From the moment we met Cheryl, it was clear that she is dedicated to providing the best possible training for our reactive dog. Cheryl treated our dog with genuine care and kindness, creating warm and welcoming environments that put both us and our dog at ease. Her training methods are incredibly effective, giving us the tools to work with our dog on our own using everything she's taught us. Each training session from first to last was tailored for our dog. We look forward to working with Cheryl again in the future.
HIRE HER! Cheryl did an amazing job with our dogs and with us! We have two dogs - one friendly and one reactive. Our reactive dog, Khloe (3 y/o), doesn't wam up quickly to new people/environments, but by the end of our 1-hr consultation Khloe had warmed up to Cheryl so much so that she even accepted a treat. This really surprised us (and sealed the deal!) Cheryl's knowledge and understanding of dog behavior is invaluable. She did a fantastic job educating us and showing us how to use/apply it. Cheryl helped us understand the various triggers and how to recognize and address them before the dog(s) could react. When used correctly and taught properly, clicker training is effective and immediate - at least for our dogs. They caught on so quickly with the clicker and we continue to use it today. She also helped us understand that training is a lifelong skill/lesson that doesn't stop.
We just wrapped up our 10 pack. It was clear from the first meeting that Cheryl loved dogs, our Luna was always so excited to see her! Cheryl tailored the sessions to your needs and what you wanted from your pup. Cheryl will provide you the tools you need to continue the training. A lot of the magic happens putting what you learn into practice consistently. We really enjoyed our sessions and will miss seeing Cheryl on a routine basis!
