Holly is an amazing person and an exceptional dog trainer. She is hands-on, incredibly knowledgeable, and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand and apply at home. Her patience and positive approach have made such a difference in our dog’s confidence and behavior. I’ve been extremely pleased with her training sessions and her thoughtful follow-ups, which show how much she truly cares about her clients and their dogs. We’re already signing up for another class with our golden retriever because the progress we’ve seen has been outstanding. I would highly recommend Holly to anyone looking for professional, reliable, and genuinely caring dog training. She goes above and beyond, and it absolutely shows.

I've owned animals here and there as a kid but never had all the responsibility. As a first time dog owner as an adult, I wanted to do right by my pet and give him the best chance to be a well behaved and happy member of society. I came across Holly's page on a google search and decided to meet with her. My husband and I decided to do a 6 week group session to see how our puppy does. Holly didn't disappoint. She not only helped with a training foundation, she also pointed out cues we overlooked and helped us navigate our puppies anxiety. We're excited to do our next group session to continue his training.

Holly is truly amazing! The only thing we regret about choosing her is that now that our regular classes are over, we won’t be seeing her anymore. We loved her and our dog, Whimsy, loved her too! I feel really good knowing that she is always there for us if we need her. Her knowledge is invaluable!

We adopted a 12 week old Aussie who from what we were told didn’t come from a great situation. We have an adult dog at home and very shortly after she had been home with us, I noticed anytime our adult dog got near her crate or toys, she started growling/barking at him. After reading up on this, I realized she was exhibiting resource guarding behavior and the more I read, the more I realized how not great this was and that we needed to do something sooner than later. We contacted Holly and started a 9 week in home training course. I say this with full confidence that we chose the best trainer to help our pup (and us). Through Holly’s expertise, she helped us understand the feelings our pup was likely experiencing and she connected so well with her-she knew exactly how to approach our nervous little girl to make her comfortable (so much so that I can say Holly is our pup’s favorite person outside of our family unit!). She guided us on how to change the environment to avoid situations where our pup felt the need to guard and also introduced exercises to help change her reactions. Even though Holly was honest from the beginning about what results to expect from our pup given that she’s exhibiting these behaviors so young (which is appreciated given that I don’t want to be fed false hope), I’ve watched our adult dog walk into our pup’s crate twice this past week and her have no reaction at all towards him-such a huge win for her! We also started some basic obedience and everything Holly taught, our pup caught on to very quickly. Holly not only helped us with the original reason that we contacted her, but was always responsive regarding anything else that came up throughout the 9 weeks, even in between training sessions-which I so appreciated. You can tell she cares deeply for the pets she is working with. She is extremely punctual also. Our home feels entirely different after completing the training course with Holly. I no longer have to worry about what might happen between our two dogs-they are doing amazing together!

I hired Holly for a nine week series of in-home training to work with my dog Loki on his reactivity. She focuses on fear free training techniques with positive reinforcement. Holly is extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and body language - she was great diagnosing some of my dogs issues that I wasn't even aware of. She has a very calm demeanor and my fearful dog was so excited to see her every week for "school". As with any trainer, most of the work was teaching me how to work with my dog productively and giving me all the resources I need for success. She gave weekly homework with step by step instructions, is always available for calls and questions and provides tons of materials to back up her lessons. Our dog needed more one on one attention than most dogs do - but knowing her expertise I would recommend her group classes to anyone who was looking for basic obedience classes for their pup. Loki gives two paws up!
