I took my 5 month old Cavipoo to Joe for puppy training. First I want to say that I was very impressed by Joe’s passion for training dogs. He’s extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and cared about how my puppy was doing with the practice in between weekly training days. Prior to training with Joe, my puppy was pulling on the leash when we went for walks and was barking at everything and everyone. After training with Joe, my puppy is able to walk on a leash without pulling and no longer goes crazy when approached by other people or dogs. He has learned the commands, “place, sit, down, come, and heel.” My dog still has that “puppy energy,” but he learned to contain that energy enough to listen to and obey commands. We continue to practice daily the lessons Joe taught, and I can see even more improvement in my puppy’s behavior as time passes. In fact, I’m sitting in my backyard now while writing this review as my neighbor’s dog barks uncontrollably and my puppy lays in the grass quietly looking at me for any direction. We recently completed a 6-week training program with LucEz K9 for our golden retriever, Miles, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. At just over a year old, Miles was full of energy and had a hard time focusing on even the simplest commands. Walking him was a challenge, especially around distractions like other dogs. Thanks to Joe’s expert training and guidance, Miles now walks calmly beside us on a leash without pulling, listens attentively to commands, and confidently holds his "place" position—even choosing to go there on his own to relax. It’s amazing to see how much calmer and more focused he is. What really stood out about working with Joe was the communication. After each session, we received detailed updates outlining what Miles had worked on, what progress was made, and what we needed to practice at home. The videos and photos of their training sessions were an added bonus and really helped us stay engaged in the process. Miles is now a well-behaved, confident dog who responds reliably to commands—even when guests come to the door. We feel much more confident as owners, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything Joe and LucEz K9 have done. Highly recommended!

German shepherd "puppy" owner. He is my first GSD, and boy does he test my patience at times. I was having issues with him chewing, digging, and leash walking. This was also my first experience hiring a dog trainer. I was nervous at first with how the results would be, but man was i satisfied with the results. Joe the owner was very knowledgeable and from the moment he arrived, I could tell this was a passion of his. Overall, I highly recommend this Joe and his company to anyone looking to improve their dog's behavior or strengthen their bond. We can not say enough about Joe and LucEz K9 Services. We have a new German shepherd puppy. She is full of energy and before sending to Joe completely out of control. Our puppy, Hope, went to a two week training camp with Joe and can back a new puppy! LucEz does a great job training, firm but loving. Hope will be going back for more trying when she gets older. Do yourself a favor if you have a new puppy! Call Joe!
