Highly recommend Andrew as a trainer! My shelter dog came to us with a looooot of leash reactivity and a crazy chase drive (he’s an Australian Cattle Dog and Pitbull Terrier). Walks were nightmare. He would bark, lunge, growl, spin-out over literally anything and sometimes unpredictably. He’s also so stubborn and would not listen to commands when he thought he wouldn’t absolutely get a treat for it. My dog went to Andrew for a 6-week board and train and came back a reformed pup! I’m already seeing a great change since he came home a couple days ago. His reactivity is way more manageable on walks and he’s a lot more responsive to commands now. I’m a lot less nervous to walk him and training has been really fun for both my dog and me. Andrew has really given us the tools to be better handlers. Other than the results we’ve seen, Andrew is really communicative and responsive. He’ll give you updates on your dog’s journey, is really understanding and encouraging about people becoming good handlers, and just really cares about your dogs.

We can't thank @complexcanine enough for helping us and our newest furry family member. A couple of months ago, a scared, loose dog appeared in our neighborhood, dodging cars and breaking our hearts. After days of searching, we finally managed to gain her trust and bring her home. Despite her sweet demeanor, it was clear she’d been through a lot, and introducing her to our two other dogs was a big challenge—they didn’t get along at first. On top of that, she was extremely fearful of other humans, making it hard for her to feel safe in her new world. That’s where Andrew from @complexcanine came in. From the start, his guidance was incredible. He worked with her one-on-one to build her confidence and taught her to trust both other dogs and people. Thanks to his patience and expertise, she now adores meeting new people and even children, something we never imagined was possible when we first found her. Andrew also gave us the tools to help her adjust to her new life, and through his help, she went from a scared, uncertain pup to a confident and happy member of our pack. Best of all, our three dogs, who initially didn’t get along, are now inseparable best friends. Andrew has been so amazing with his work with our Rottweiler Tiberius! Not only did Tiberius start with a couple of obedience training sessions at 4 months old we decided to commit him to a 10 week board and train shortly after. The end results were amazing we had a dog that would heel, stay on place bed, and obey commands. Having our large high drive dog was admittedly a scary task for me and my girlfriend but with Andrew’s help we can give our dog the best life he deserves. Andrew is deeply passionate about his work he cares greatly about the dogs and their owners. Would not recommend anyone else!

I first met Complex Canine 4 years ago after a couple miserably failed attempts to find a trainer for a dog I got from work. His name is Butters and despite his cute name he had a lot of issues with reactivity to literally everything (his reflection, lights, cars, trash trucks, etc). I made a desperate plea on IG and they reached out to me and offered a solution. And man, did this solution save my life and my dogs life because without them- I wouldn’t have been able to keep Butters. I sent him in for the longest board and train they offered, one usually reserved for project dogs I suppose and he came back to me a completely different dog (in a good way). He was able to be in public places, able to go on walks, make friends with other dogs (with proper intro), etc. Complex Canine truly made what I thought impossible possible and I am grateful for them every day. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I know and I STILL go back/reach out if I have questions/concerns or need tips and tricks on how to help Butters’ reactivity. Complex Canine saved me and my family. I got a Dogo Argentino and training him was a bit overwhelming. I decided I needed to find professional help. I did tons of research and met with multiple trainers in the Los Angeles area. None of them compared to Complex Canine. I could tell from the moment we met that they were the right choice. They’re genuine and their love for dogs and their work made my decision simple. I signed my dog up for a 6 week board and train and the results actually changed my life (also sent him back for a few weeks so they can work with him more while I was out of town). They set the foundation for success in keeping my dog behaved and in line without some of the cruel methods that others wanted to use (since he is such a massive breed). They sent updates on the regular and informed me on what his strengths and weaknesses were. 6 weeks later they brought my boy home a changed man. No more pulling on walks, sitting on command, laying on command, going to his place and staying there until directed otherwise, waiting for me to get home from work to go out and do his “business.” Those are just the basics. They even taught him in my preferred language which isn’t even one they speak. Taking him out in public has become one of my favorite things to do now, something that would have been impossible without Complex’s help. I have two kids at home, a toddler and an infant. I would never have the confidence in my dog to be near them without the proper training they provided.
