Always Training K9s

Nikki at Always Training K9s is absolutely incredible. If I could give her 100 stars, I would. Our French Bulldog, Thunder, completed both puppy boot camp and the two week board and train, and the transformation has been unbelievable. He went from high energy and stubborn to having manners, strong recall, and actually listening. We can walk him on leash without being dragged and even take him out off leash with confidence. He understands place, behaves when we have company over, and even stopped chewing on the cat’s toys, which was a huge win for his safety. Walks are now enjoyable, and we can take him out in public without him jumping all over everyone. Nikki is patient, firm, and knows exactly how to get results. She does not just train your dog, she trains you too, which makes all the difference. It is actually hilarious that when Thunder hears her voice on social media, he starts responding to her commands. Because of Nikki, we feel like we have a balanced home and truly get to enjoy our dog instead of being controlled by him. If you are even thinking about dog training, go to Nikki. You will not regret it.

Nikki was incredible with our two dogs, Whiskey (4) and Fig (7 months), during their two-week board and train. She’s clearly passionate, takes time to understand the root of behaviors, and keeps you involved with regular training videos. We saw such a positive change in both dogs, and she also gave us the tools to continue the training at home. We would trust her with our pups anytime and highly recommend her!

5 Stars really aren’t enough for Nikki! We were recommended to her after our most recent rescue pup got in an altercation with her brother. We had Olive for about 6 months before we met Nikki. Olive was always very unsure, not confident in herself and always seemed to be “on”. It was heartbreaking for us, because we only wanted her to thrive in our home. Nikki came in at first, for in-home training. Even after a couple of sessions we noticed Olive changing. We knew a board and train would help give her (and us) the tools we needed to better help her. I don’t think I could ever put into words what 2 weeks with Nikki has done for Olive. She has come back a completely different dog. She is more confident, loving and the most incredible transformation was watching her learn to just relax. She is not only an enjoying life in our home but she is THRIVING. She LOVES to work on her recalls now and is just so proud of herself. If you are thinking about training just know Nikki has completely changed our home life and given Olive something I thought she would never get- the ability to give and receive love. We will never be able to thank her for enough. Nikki is incredibly talented and knowledgeable in her field. She gives you all the tools you need to build a successful relationship for you and your pups. She is also just an all around incredible human! We will sing her praises forever!

I cannot say enough good things about Nikki and alwaystrainingk9. After doing in home training previously, I knew my dog would benefit more from a board and train situation. After finding Nikki’s training stories on Instagram, I felt like she was the right person to work with my dog to address his behaviors. After our initial phone consult, I felt completely comfortable leaving him with her, knowing that she would take good care of him and challenge him in a safe manner. Nikki has such a great understanding of dog body language and behaviors. I have learned so much about my dog’s mindset, and I feel much more confident with my handling skills. Her consistent training strategies and simple explanations have helped make It easier to carry over things once he got back home. Our follow up sessions at my home focused on specific issues that were only happening in his home territory. Nikki is great at communicating and is responsive to texts and any questions I have. I can't say enough good things about Nikki at Always Training K9s! Our dog Juju is high-energy, reactive, and has a lot of big feelings about everything. Nikki has been amazing with her and showed so much patience throughout the whole process. She really worked wonders with Juju and gave us the tools we needed to help her.
