(from Google)I was skeptical at first because I had already sent my Belgian Malinois, Kilo, to training somewhere else. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised! Paws on the Ground is absolutely amazing. Honestly, I should have known by the name alone! Kilo is practically the perfect dog now. He's always been a sweet dog, but now he's calm, well-mannered, and under control. I have zero worries about inviting people into our home. He doesn't jump on guests, listens so well, and has become the wonderful family dog I always hoped he'd be. If you're looking for a trainer who truly delivers results, I can't recommend Paws on the Ground enough. Thank you for giving us the confidence and peace of mind to enjoy life with our incredible dog!
Sent our 5 month old yellow lab to POTG and couldn’t be happier. He came back a respectful, obedient pup and we were given the right tools to keep his behavior going. We are so thankful for Kenzie and Kellen—it is very apparent they have so much experience and enjoy each and every dog too.
I talked to many dog trainers but ultimately decided to go with Paws on the Ground because of the personalized communication and understanding with the training. The Trainers went above and beyond teaching me and fiancé all the work and tricks they were able to teach my pup. Spirit can be quite stubborn and need plenty of patients. Spirit needed a confidence boost and to be taught neutrality with other dogs and humans, he was able to learn and develop those skills with the help of POTG. Highly recommend dog trainers!
First and foremost, one of the main reasons I chose Paws on the ground is due to their website and how family oriented they are. I felt comfortable leaving my 6 month old Naish with them and that is the number one thing for a dog owner, as they treated Naish like he was their own. Paws on the ground did an amazing job with him. He is so well behaved and we are very excited to see what the future holds for him. We are so happy with how Naish has turned out, that we will be sending our other Australian Shepard for training with them too.
We had the most incredible experience with Paws on the Ground Training during their 5-week program with our dog, Waylon. From day one, the team showed an amazing level of professionalism, patience, and genuine love for what they do. Waylon went into the program as a loving but unpredictable German Shepard. He had issues with anxiety, proper E-collar, Prong Collar and command usage. He was unpredictably aggressive and extremely Timid in new environments and or around new people. He had territorial aggression with food and a variety of locations he would frequently and lay claim to. Waylon came out confident, well-mannered, and so much more focused. The trainers took the time to really understand his personality and adjust the training to fit his needs. We were blown away by the progress he made each week! Not only did Waylon learn valuable skills, but we did too. The communication throughout the entire process was top-notch—regular updates, videos, and guidance so we could reinforce everything at home. It truly felt like a partnership, and they empowered us every step of the way. We can’t recommend Paws on the Ground Training enough. If you’re looking for a training program that is compassionate, effective, and truly transformational, this is the place. Waylon is happier, more confident, and thriving—and we’re beyond grateful. Thank you, Paws on the Ground Training, for giving us the tools to help Waylon be his best self!
