(from Google)Nancy and Jim are excellent dog trainers. They are well known far beyond California.
My other agility training center closed, and Power Paws was the next closest and came highly recommended. My dog and I enjoy training there. The course is built on grass, using competition-grade equipment and is changed weekly.
During a taster session, the girl running the course showed no enthusiasm, did not explain what she wanted us to do beforehand, did not manage the dogs well (one went for both my dog and another dog, the owner having no insight into his dogs stress levels) and the girls dad kept moving around when a collie was attempting the tunnel and jumps. He was apparently oblivious to the fact that he was stressing the collie by constantly moving, I was desperate to tell him to either keep still or go away. They both appeared to have little insight into how dogs learn, how to train them for anything other than agility (even then it could barely be called training) and poor presentation and management skills for the class. I hope this was an off day for them but I did not book the classes after such a poor taster session and left angry that my dog and my friends dog were more stressed and anxious by the end of the session due to their poor management.
