(from Google)What a great experience! Merle and I completed group obedience classes - money well spent! Tommy and Christina are fabulous. My goal was to achieve a pleasant, loose leash walk with Merle (which seemed impossible with my strong, enthusiastic 75 pound pulling dog) but we did it!! Not only are we enjoying walks around Southport, Merle follows basic commands like sit, stay, place, down, etc. Tommy and Christina equip you with the knowledge & equipment (the collar and shorter leash was a game changer for us) to succeed! You gotta do the homework though & put the time in with your dog.
Css as lm, useful habits training dog and owner. I saw amazing changes in my dog and others in the vlasd
Flora (our dog), my husband and I learned so much from the owner and his adult daughter. Besides their knowledge, awareness and care, the 3 of us came away with great tactics and a dog that can calmly walk with us among other things! Perhaps the key to their process is doing the obedience training with a couple of other dogs. Vaccines are mandated and the facility is very clean.
We can’t say enough good things about Tommy and Christina. They truly want to see you and your dog succeed and I appreciate the communication they provide to support the unique needs of our family. We’ve done obedience training classes and an agility workshop here and they are great with our “bursting with joy” dog. Oakley gives Southport Dog “five paws!”
After being involved in 20 years of dog rescue and fostering, I can say this facility is my favorite. They have an amazing staff and training facility. Love their style and their training protocols. My dog Bernice, who is a chuckle head, did awesome under their care and training . Can’t wait to see her growth under their guidance.
