Pet Peeves Dog, Cat, Horse and Bird Training

Wendy is a blessing. Very positive & professional & great with our dogs. She has a deep understanding and ability to know what each of our dogs needed. Happy to report we now have a pack (3dogs) that love one another, trained to sit, down, high five, stay, wait, come and leave it. Our puppy is completely potty trained even with our 6 lb dog still using potty pads, he knows not to go there. No pun intended ;) Thank you Wendy!

Out of the three opinions I got for behavior modification, Wendy was the only one who assured me that my dogs behavior was not uncommon. She was extremely knowledgeable and was always able to tell me the reasoning behind my dogs behaviors. Everything she did with him was positive and he responded very well. On top of that, once your training is done, she’s always there if you have any issues pop back up which is great!

We are so happy to have been referred to Pet Peeves! We did a five day board and train program and could not be more pleased! Wendy Kelly is professional and master dog trainer! She came to our home and listened to our needs and went over everything she was going to train our cavapoo puppy. She sent video updates during the five days so we could view our puppy’s progress. When she brought our puppy back it could do all the commands and a trick! Our puppy was calmer and overall better behaved! Wendy also did two follow up meetings with our family to teach our family the training commands and make sure we were prepared to continue at home. We are so happy to have found Wendy and highly recommend her positive dog training program!

Wendy and Pet Peeves are TERRIFIC. Our dog had severe behavior issues - so sweet at home, but a terror to others. Highly aggressive, to the point of posing a threat to our friends and family, and making it impossible to have visitors over. We had tried several trainers before Pet Peeves, but nothing was working. We have a 1 1/2 year old Australian Cattle dog who is very smart but was very fearful of new people & dogs. Wendy Kelly came out to our home to meet with us & our dog, Mocha. It was clear from the beginning that Wendy has a true understanding of dogs, their behaviors, and the "why" behind these behaviors! Wendy was able to inform us why Mocha was acting the way she was, and offered a "train away" program where Mocha stayed with Wendy at Haines Road Animal Hospital for a week. During this time, Mocha trained daily 1x1 with Wendy. At the end of the program, Mocha came back to us a changed dog! And we are much more knowledgeable & armed with the tools to further her training. I would recommend Pet Peeves to anyone looking to see results in training their best friend!
