Once again I want to thank the Doctors/Staff at Apollo Beach Animal Hospital. We discovered a tumor in my 12 year old beagle, Oreo, from an ultrasound after spotting blood on his pillow. We lost our other beloved beagle, T, in April due to TCC so we were very worried. Dr. Diana did a thorough exam and the necessary blood work to ensure he had no complications prior to surgery. Dr. Melilli performed a spleenectomy on Oreo. She is also the one who operated on T. Her expertise and precision is beyond approach! Oreo's biopsy was benign, is 3+ weeks post surgery and doing great with a scar you can hardly notice. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Diana, Dr. Melilli and staff for their quick action, expertise, warmth and care of our boy.

**Warning: Consider Your Options Before Choosing This Animal Hospital** I do not recommend this animal hospital based on my experience. In 2020, I brought one of my cats in to be spayed. At the time of discharge, we declined the recovery shirt that was offered. We were never given the shirt, nor were we informed that we would be billed for one later. According to the hospital, we supposedly agreed to pay for it at the follow-up appointment. That never happened. For the next two years, while we continued living in Ruskin, I never received a bill, phone call, email, or any other notification that there was an outstanding balance. My phone number has remained the same since 2012, and after moving due to military orders, I still received no communication regarding any unpaid charges. Now, in 2026…six years later….I received my first phone call from the hospital stating they intend to send a **$25 charge** to collections. They claimed they had contacted me multiple times, which is simply not true. No notices or calls were ever received. Sending a customer to collections years later for a charge that was never communicated is unacceptable business practice. At best, it demonstrates extremely poor recordkeeping and customer service. At worst, it raises serious concerns about how this hospital handles billing and communication. If you're comfortable with the possibility of being contacted years after your visit for charges you were never made aware of and being threatened with collections over a $25 item you never received, then this may be the place for you. Otherwise, I recommend choosing a veterinary practice with transparent billing, timely communication, and better customer service.

Our family has an existing relationship ABAH. They took care of our previous Titi throughout her doggy life. We recently adopted another dog from CARE Shelter and scheduled an initial visit. ABAH's introduction to our new family pet, Anakin was wonderful and included the vet tech who charmed him, the vet who addressed our concerns. In addition, the front staff, specifically the office manager suggested valid cost saving care plans that would address Anakin's needs. Appreciative that I have received consistent service and balanced advice from this team who takes the time to build relationships with their clients.

I was here today while the receptioniste are very friendly, especially Bella the technician was unbelievable. I walked in with a sick 9yo sick cat. He's eating fine. But has stopped using his box for 💩 and sometime pees outside the box. Which he has 2 cleaned daily. They went over a pre bill of which was just short of $400 for office visit, rabies shot and Bloodwork. I denied the xrays & ultrasound for another $450. I was there about 2 hours and they told me the had to sedate him to get blood. I left him there so they could give him pills to do so. I was to come back after 2:00. I called at 2:30 to see if he was ready. They told me no because he didn't sedate and they would need to give him a shot for another $90. All to get blood! Are you kidding me. Have they ever another car patient? I said I would come and hold him so they together the blood. They said they couldn't allow that, because he might bite me. Which he's my cat. I told them just to get him ready and I will get him to another vet. I have 2 dogs that go there too. I don't trust that they know what they are doing and will not go back with any of my pets. I like Dr M there, but not enough to put my pets and myself through this.

I absolutely love Apollo Beach Animal Hospital. The entire staff are kind, caring and professional. They treat our pets as if it were their own. The best animal hospital by far.
