I have been visiting this veterinarian for 6 years and my dog receives very good care and affection, even though I moved an hour away from there, I continue to bring him.

Peyton took excellent care of my Cali girl. We’ve only visited this clinic for emergency situations, but every experience has been positive. The staff is always compassionate, attentive, and genuinely caring. Peyton was wonderful, and I truly appreciate the kindness and care shown to Cali during a stressful time. Thank you to staff for consistently providing such great service.

Peyton was absolutely wonderful with our family and our fur baby. She was kind, caring, and took the time to make sure we felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. My experience with 1-20 Animal Medical Center Vet ER and Wellness was extremely disappointing. The professionalism and communication throughout the entire process were very poor. Almost every time I left after speaking with staff, I felt more confused than when I arrived. One of the hardest parts was how frequently conversations (with the doctor/vet tech)centered around my dog potentially passing away, rather than helping me fully understand treatment options, progress, or next steps. During such an emotional and vulnerable time, compassion and clear communication matter deeply. The only people I truly want to thank are the ICU nurses. They were incredibly kind, compassionate, and supportive, and they made a difficult situation a little easier to get through. I also would not recommend this facility if you are looking for cost-effective care. It felt like there was an additional charge at every turn, and I truly felt taken advantage of knowing most pet owners will do absolutely anything for their animals. Unfortunately, the financial burden from this experience has caused significant debt for me. I genuinely pray for anyone who walks through their doors during such a vulnerable moment with their pet. I hope future clients receive better communication, more transparency, and more compassion than I experienced.

We cannot thank the team enough for saving our German Shepherd, Chapo. He came in with GDV and needed immediate, life-saving surgery. The communication from the team throughout the entire process—especially after the surgery—was outstanding. They treated Chapo as one of their own, and kept us informed on how he was doing every step of the way. Their kindness and transparency meant everything to our family. Most importantly, they gave our toddler his best friend back. It’s only because of the incredible work this team did that Chapo is still here with us today. We will forever be grateful for the care, compassion, and life-saving work they provided to our family.
