Blue Sky Veterinary Clinic

I used to have the utmost respect for BlueSky after the way they handled the end-of-life care for my Great Danes a few years back. Unfortunately, it seems things have changed, and absolute greed is an incredibly ugly color on them. I recently got a new Golden Retriever. He is completely healthy and just had a comprehensive vet check up North where I got him. I called BlueSky simply looking to get a basic refill on his flea and tick medication, actively trying to support a local business instead of just defaulting to a massive corporate site like PetMeds. That’s when BlueSky’s blatant money-grab kicked in. Instead of providing a simple preventative refill for a dog with a brand-new, clean bill of health, they flat-out refused unless I paid a $100+ "establish care" extortion fee. The actual vet who just examined him was perfectly willing to authorize the refill, but BlueSky wasn't interested in that. Their entire attitude on the phone was strictly, "give us our money or get out." Fine. PetMeds gets my money, and BlueSky loses a previously loyal client forever. Frankly, I would rather burn $100 in gas driving all the way back up North to a decent, ethical clinic than hand over a single cent to a local business that operates like a shakedown. It is beyond pathetic. I used to think highly of this place, but a clinic that prioritizes squeezing every last dollar out of pet owners over the basic, preventative care of an animal is downright disgraceful. Greedy vets are bad news for your pets. Do yourself and your animals a massive favor: steer clear of BlueSky and take your business to a vet who actually cares about animals more than their bottom line.

Us and our pups are always treated so well when we visit Blue Sky! Dr. Tennant is so kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and you can tell she is passionate about her work! Highly recommended Blue Sky.

I don’t have enough good things to say about Blue Sky. They have done such a good job with our dog. He is a handful and they are always really accommodating and take great care of him.

Dr Tennant has excellent listening and communication skills. She is very sensible in her care recommendations. She treats our pets as if they are her own.

Blue Sky has been our Vet since 2007. They have treated our fur babies from beginning to end with the upmost respect and dignity.
