(from Google)We recently moved from Virginia to San Diego, and my dog has a pancreatic condition that requires daily medication. Because it’s such a rare condition—especially for her breed—she had to go through a lot of testing back in Virginia before getting diagnosed. Unfortunately, that experience left her very nervous and scared when going to the vet. Before choosing a new clinic here, I did a lot of research because I wanted to make sure she would be in the best hands possible. I’m so glad we chose this clinic! The staff went out of their way to make sure she felt as comfortable as possible. Even when she got scared and snapped, they stayed calm, didn’t overreact, and helped me settle her down. It’s such a relief to find a vet team that is not only knowledgeable but also truly patient and compassionate with anxious pets. I’m so grateful we found such a wonderful, caring vet for her.
We decided to switch to a new vet in Bonita. Town and Country had some good comments from FB users so we gave it a try. They were great, responsive, professional. I felt good there, as opposed to previous vet. Not a fancy place, but good.
I love Dr Rhodes and all the staff here! Everyone is always kind and patient and they are really good about getting me in quickly. Are they overpriced? Unfortunately, all veterinary costs are expensive everywhere since private equity started buying up all the clinics and jacking up all the prices. That said, I highly recommend Dr Rhodes and all the staff here. They will take excellent care of you and all your fur babies.
Definitely our new regular vet! I've seen this vet for a while as I've ran around Rohr Park, and when my pet was having medical issues I thought of them first. Their website made it super easy to schedule online as a new patient, the staff were so warm and lovely, and above all I greatly appreciate their pricing transparency and communication about treatment options. I feel like many vets are quick to push all the options and break the wallet, but this vet offered me a series of treatment options and pricing transparency so I can do what I felt best and not pay $500-$600 the first visit. My Bowie also felt greatly comfortable with them, which is always a good sign.
We just had our first appointment with them to establish a primary care for our new adopted pup. Paul is a great first impression for this clinic and is so welcoming and friendly. The veterinary assistants who got our history and filled our medications were on top of everything, and very caring and attentive (I’m sad I can’t remember their names). Dr. Quintana is an amazing addition to this practice. He was so gentle and calming with our boy. A very knowledgeable doctor as well! He listened to all of our concerns and also addressed every single one of them. It’s refreshing to feel heard. We felt so at ease with this clinic, we highly recommend! Very happy with the service we received.
