Rise Vet

I used Rise Vet for about 3 1/2 years. We started while living in Boulder, and we stayed with them, even after moving to Firestone. They were stellar each and every time we visited. Dr. Marshall always took her time and endured my endless questions. Dr. Boal (a fellow native Pennsylvanian!) was so kind the first time we met with him. The front staff was always so lovely and calming. During a dental cleaning for my cat, Oreo, I used their text messaging system and asked them to tell her I loved her before she went under, and they did! How precious and rare is that? We had to move away from Colorado because of my husband’s job, and my heart aches from losing this clinic. We can’t find any decent vets in our area of California. Rise is worth every penny we ever spent. In my opinion, their pricing is fair for the area they serve and the care they offer. Why am I leaving this review now instead of when we lived nearby? Because I’m experiencing severe nostalgia over losing them. You often don’t appreciate what you have until it’s gone. I never visited a clinic like Rise, and I can’t wait until we move back to Colorado. Until then, we’ll just say hi every now and again. I have two cats struggling with various severe illnesses and I have been to numerous vets in the area. Finally I found the right vets for my cats! Rise Vet started by Andrew Boal is the best in town! They have worked with me in finding the best treatment plans for both kitties. They treat them with very gentle care given their rescues and make sure they don’t stress them out too much which is rare for a lot of vets. Dr. Boal is by far the best in the area, he’s very open to what I think is best for my cats and their wellbeing over pushing them for extra testing unlike other vets in the area. They completely understand that my fur babies are truly my babies and I’ll do anything for them so they are prompt and efficient in helping me through the toughest process I’ve ever endured. I cannot thank him, Dr Marshall and the entire staff for being so kind, big hearted and in it for helping me and my kitties instead of the money. I recommend them to all my dog walking and pet sitting clients! Thank you Rise for all your amazing help and team!

Our two cats were both suddenly not doing well and we’re in the middle of almost a week of trying to treat and figure out the issue(s). Reception, techs, and Dr. M have all been incredibly kind, compassionate, thorough, and knowledgeable. The care for my cats and for me as a human being that they have consistently shown has been greatly appreciated that I had to come on here and write one of the very few reviews I’ve ever written!

Our visit with Dr. MacDonald was outstanding. My dog Ruby has many complicated issues. Dr. MacDonald sat on the floor with Ruby and me, did a thoughtful and through exam and made a plan to solve our problem. Dr. MacDonald took her time, worked to make things as affordable as possible, was so kind to Ruby and she is very smart. Highly recommend Rise Vet!

We can't say enough good things about Rise Vet! We started coming here when we moved to Boulder and they've been wonderful with our dog Whistler. He is a nervous guy and Dr. Schuster and the team are so sweet and patient with him. They are always able to get us in quickly and everyone is so kind and professional. You can tell the people here love what they do and love your pet!
