(from Google)My parents took our six-year-old Pug to the vet. She had a growth on her vulva that another veterinarian had previously removed, but it had grown back. When we took her to this vet, the owner told my parents that the dog needed to be spayed and that cysts had also been detected in her uterus. She operated on her and charged them 7,000 pesos. She discharged her the same day, but we could see that the dog was getting worse and worse. She wasn't eating and stopped walking. On the third day, we took her back, and the vet said she was progressing well. That same day, white spots appeared around her eyes, and the vet said it wasn't important. By the sixth day, she wasn't getting up, eating, or drinking water. On the night of Sunday, October 26th, she started convulsing and died. 😞 It should be noted that during this period the veterinarian consulted her three times and she said that she was doing well, when it was more than evident that this was not the case.
The staff is always attentive and provides solutions to our furry friends' problems.
We reside in San Antonio, and unfortunately, obtaining services for our dogs here has proven to be quite costly. Having been residents for a considerable amount of time, we have lost trust in the local veterinarians. As loyal clients, we do not mind traveling a distance to receive reliable services. We have never been misled, and our pet's diagnoses have always been accurate. Previously, we had a black German shepherd who was diagnosed with parvovirus at Saint Francis Veterinary Clinic in San Antonio. They informed us that she had a low chance of survival and would require hospitalization at a cost of $380 USD per night, with no guarantee of recovery. My wife contacted El Chairel Veterinary Clinic and described the symptoms. The veterinarian there disagreed with the parvovirus diagnosis and agreed to see our dog immediately. We drove down, and she promptly examined our pet. We left her at the clinic, and when we picked her up a few days later, she was in excellent health and spirits. Remarkably, the initial diagnosis of parvovirus was incorrect. Recently, our Yorkshire Terrier experienced dizziness and unsteadiness at around 7 pm. We contacted El Chairel Veterinary Hospital and described the symptoms. The veterinarian suspected an allergic reaction and advised us to bring the dog in for examination. We arrived at the hospital at approximately 10:30 pm, and the veterinarian promptly conducted a thorough checkup. After a comprehensive examination, the veterinarian determined that the dog had likely consumed something that triggered an allergic reaction. She administered vitamins and an allergy shot, which resulted in a rapid improvement in the dog's condition. Within minutes, the dog was running around and eager to leave. We are pleased to report that our dog has since made a full recovery and is in excellent health. While reviewing some online reviews of El Chairel Veterinary Hospital, we noticed a few comments that appeared overly sensitive. It is important to note that El Chairel's approach is to provide straightforward and honest assessments, rather than catering to personal preferences. Some individuals may find this approach challenging, but it is essential to recognize that the veterinarian's primary objective is to ensure the well-being of the animals under their care. Therefore, we encourage individuals to consider the accuracy and objectivity of the information presented rather than allowing personal feelings to influence their perception of the veterinary services provided. We love El Chairel and highly recommend them to anyone needing help for their pets.
I took my Belgian Shepherd dog to the vet. From the moment I walked in, the vet was rather arrogant. While I was explaining the situation, the doctor focused solely on criticizing me. I was simply describing my pet's symptoms, and she prescribed medication for a stomach infection and then for diarrhea. The vet attended to her the first time, but the assistant attended to her the second and third times. The problem here is the lack of direct attention from the vet to monitor the progress of the medication, which she prescribed through her assistant. I spent over 1300 pesos on three appointments, and my dog died. This was my first time visiting this veterinary clinic, Chairel, and I had a terrible experience. I won't be returning, and I won't recommend it because of the doctor's attitude and lack of attention.
My deepest respect goes to Dr. Luna, the veterinarian. My wife and I are so grateful to her for saving our schnauzer, Luna, who shares the doctor's last name. Our dog had a virus; she wasn't eating or sleeping, and her happiness had completely vanished. She was also vomiting and had diarrhea. Dr. Luna at El Chairel Veterinary Clinic returned her to us in excellent condition. She's the same Luna we always know, full of happiness and without any discomfort. I had also taken her to a vet in Laredo, Texas, but they charged me a fortune—$600 for two days—and my dog didn't show any improvement. Dr. Luna did an excellent job for four days, and believe me, it was a very good and low price. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank Dr. Luna and her staff, who were always very kind and attentive to our calls. We highly recommend El Chairel Veterinary Clinic. My respects to Nuevo Laredo and Dr. Luna, we are more than satisfied 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🐶🐶🐶🐶
