dont go here they will try to make you spend more money. I brought my dog to put her on anxiety meds and they were saying they need to do all this blood work which wouldve been really expensive. So we took her to a different vet and said no blood work was needed and gave us the pills. So this place tries to steal money from you. They should be shut down

If I could rate my experience a 0 star. I would. I have been to many banfield locations, they were all great, the doctors were great. Unfortunately my experience here was absolutely terrible. I scheduled my dog for his regular comprehensive exam and dental cleaning I have the OWP plan. After waiting over 30 minutes in the wait room for them to just come and bring my dog to check him in. I left and continued with my day. After a couple of hours I received a call that my dogs’ liver enzymes were extremely high and of course he couldn’t get the dental work. I questioned what could be wrong why his liver enzymes would be high. I was told many different things could be the cause, not anything simple either. Things that would worry any dog owner when you get a call like that. I was advised they can do labs, and of course I had to pay extra, over $100 for labs and was advised that they would give me a call to go over the results of those labs. My dog has gotten many comprehensive exams over the years and this was probably the worse. No one explained the location on his body where he got his vaccines or anything. For the first time my dog has been getting his vaccines, this was the worst. He was lethargic, in pain, and literally would not move for hours, throwing up. Nonetheless I kept my eye on him and called banfield then and only then did they tell me where he got his shots. I advised he threw up. Doctor said its normal keep and eye pn him. Typically all the other banfield locatoons will call me to check on how he is doing. They didn’t even do that. Now for the labs, no call all week. I decided to call to check in to get an update. I was told that the labs came back. The woman at the front desk sounded like she had no clue what she was talking about so I asked to speak with the vet. She goes back and then comes back after a while advising the doctor will call me back in the afternoon. No call all day. I decided to call at 5pm before they closed at 6pm. When I called at 5pm I was put on hold for 20 minutes and then they sent me to voicemail. I called back and spoke with kayla who advised the doctor would call me back before they closed at this point its 5:45pm so I said asked when i when i would receive a call back since it’s almost 6pm. She puts me on another hold to go find out from the doctor. Apparently she cannot speak to me. I am frustrated at this point not only you do not keep your word but you are also wasting my time. She then put me on hold to escalate the situation again and after another 20 minutes on hold. I get sent to voicemail. Lets be real it takes a few minutes to read the results of labs and give an explanation. If you took labs the same day of high liver enzymes I can’t fathom there not being labs results indicating why they were high. Did they magically just go back to normal. If it were a child, your child, your dog. You would want answers as to what was going on. It was disrespectful for no one to have the curtesy to pick up the phone and just send me to voicemail. I called and was kind UNTIL no one could help. I recommend NO ONE go to this banfield, there are so much better locations. They need new managements and new workers.

Normally, we love Banfield—everyone is always really kind and the care has been great. However, at our most recent comprehensive exam, the experience felt very different. We felt rushed from the moment we arrived and even overheard staff mention that the last pet of the day had already arrived. During the exam, it didn’t seem like a full assessment was completed. I don’t believe my dog’s ears, skin, or teeth were even checked. We were told his nails needed to be trimmed, but we weren’t asked if we wanted that service done during the visit, which is something that’s always been offered to us in the past. We were also sent home with heartworm medication, which is typically administered by the staff in the office. Overall, the visit felt less thorough and less attentive than what we’ve come to expect. Hoping this was just an off day, as we’ve otherwise had very positive experiences.

Would give zero stars if I could! DO NOT take your pets here if you want them actually taken care of and examined. The only thing they care about is rushing you in and out so they can get to the next pet. They ignore any concerns you have. We dont even get to talk to the actual vet while at an appointment because they are "too busy" to talk to you. About 7 months ago we brought up a lump that had formed on our lab and they brushed us off and said just keep an eye on it and againrushed us out. We ended up having to have her put down last week because she had multiple tumors. Now our other dog has a lump and again we were brushed off and rushed out. They cant even handle trimming our dogs nails. Please do yourself a favor and go to any other vet.

I'm not one to write reviews but after our experience and the treatment we received elsewhere I decided I needed to write a review. I went to banfield pet hospital Dec 6th for a wellness visit & to update my dog honeys shots. They don't do wellness exams in front of you they take all dogs to the back. Prior to taking her to the back they tried to get me to signup for all kinds of programs that cost money I declined. It was clear what we were there for I didn't need any extras especially because the wellness visit is around 168 just to walk in the door plus whatever the shots cost. So prior to them bringing my girl to the back they ask do you have any concerns I said yes as my dog has two lumps on her. They took her back came back gave me my dog back and said I could cash out 0 information given on the spots so I asked about them and the lady I spoke with had no clue she said it's cosmetic and to put a cone on if it bugs her. Fast forward to December 30th my dogs lumps became a huge issue I Calle the vet as I was just there and they said well we need to schedule another wellness visit I said my dog needs this lump removed I was supposed to get info on it you gave me nothing so respectfully I'm not paying another wellness exam. I want to speak to someone else a doctor called me back end of day with 0 information given yet again and said she would check and get back with me it's now January and I just got a call yesterday 1/8 still with 0 information asking me if I wanted to book a surgery with them I said no I'll never take my dog back. Once this happened on Dec 30th I called every vet in town and paws @ vet in nfm answered they were amazing not only was the wellness fee $50 the vet sat with me and my dog and did the exam right there told me the cosmetic spot was actually cancer got us in gave us a excellent price and had the surgery scheduled and preformed all before banifeild could even call me back about a dog that had just seen. With that being said don't bring your dog here go to paws@ vet in nfm they truly care and pay attention to detail you are not a number in their office. They preformed a beautiful surgery and my dog will live many more happy days because of them. If you go to paws @ vet website I wrote a awesome review and posted photos below 1000/10 recommend them. Run from this place
