This is truly an exceptional veterinary hospital. The doctors are highly knowledgeable, and the entire staff is incredibly caring. It’s easily our favorite clinic—we wouldn't take our pets anywhere else!

The vets and every staff member are professional, kind, caring and seem to enjoy their jobs! This has made it easier for us when our elder pets have problems or begin to decline. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

If I could give 10 stars for this place I would!! I can’t say enough great things about CHAI and Dr Smith. Dr Smith is amazing, she listens to your concerns and explains things in a way that makes total sense. I also love that she doesn’t push prescriptions for everything! I have 2 Aussiedoodles, and if you know anything about AD’s you know these dogs can develop some real issues. One of my AD’s was having a terrible issue with diarrhea that we couldn’t get cleared up. . Our vet (at the time) kept prescribing meds that would help short term, then out of no where the issue would return. I decided to bring him to CHAI and Dr. Smith tested him for several things our vet (at the time) had not tested. She found the root issue and changed his diet and prescribed supplements and a one med. I think it’s been 7-8 months and we haven’t had any more issues. My other AD developed terrible allergies and his skin was a mess (at the time I didn’t know it was allergies). Dr. Smith suggested an allergy test, and results showed he was allergic to almost everything he was eating at the time. She treated him with supplements, one med, and placed him on a specific diet. He has since lost 20+ pounds (he was overweight), and his allergies are controlled by diet only. I love that CHAI doesn’t just prescribe meds to treat the symptoms but look for the root cause and treat it with diet, supplements, and when necessary meds. Some people say they are expensive, but I think they are comparable to other vets. It’s just that some tests are costly. I don’t mind paying the extra cost for test and supplements bc I don’t have to keep my pets on meds that aren’t best for them. If you are looking for an awesome vet that actually cares about the well being of their furry clients this is the place. The whole staff is great and my dogs don’t have the anxiety they had visiting prior vet.

Worst veterinarian ever. This veterinarian literally would Not help my kitty unless I gave her up. I had been a caring mom of a chronically ill cat and simply because dr Smith didn't approve of the food I fed her (hard food) she said I wasn't qualified to heal her and keep her. My friend has had a similar experience with this doctor, where they tried to prematurely euthanize his dog, however he brought it do a different that that completely healed it. Stay away. She has a heart of charcoal!

I cannot recommend CHAI enough. My sweet boy, Hank, hated his previous vet—the setup there stressed him out immensely. At CHAI, he was always greeted enthusiastically and with treats (the way to his heart). They immediately brought us into a room and handled everything there, including checkout, rather than making us wait in a lobby with multiple other pets. That alone made a huge difference for Hank. Hank experienced seizures during the last few months of his life, and the entire team handled him with so much care and compassion. Hank saw both Dr. Katie and Dr. Smith during our time at CHAI, and they somehow mastered the art of being deeply kind and caring while also delivering blunt, hard information when needed. Because of their thoughtful, holistic recommendations, I was able to enjoy three additional months with my boy—time I will forever be grateful for. I felt 100% confident in their guidance every step of the way. Whenever Hank had a seizure, the technicians and front office staff were quick to respond and provide calm, clear guidance. When it came time to do the impossible thing and end his suffering, they guided me through it with so much gentleness. Meg sat with me in my grief, and I will never forget that. I am forever grateful to everyone at CHAI. Thank you for taking such beautiful care of my boy.
