(from Google)I truly don’t have enough words to thank this animal hospital for the care and compassion they showed my dog and me. When he began having seizures, I was completely overwhelmed and terrified. Lisa, the head of reception, calmly talked me through everything over the phone during his first seizure. They spoke to me with such patience and empathy, explaining what was happening and what they were doing every step of the way. Even in the chaos of the emergency, they made me feel supported and reassured. I never felt rushed or dismissed, and they truly understood how much my dog meant to me. Over the following months, Dr. Shane worked closely with us to adjust his medications and monitor his condition, helping to stabilize him and giving us more precious time together. His team's dedication, responsiveness, and genuine concern made such a difference during an incredibly difficult period. Although my dog ultimately passed away, I am deeply grateful that he was in Dr. Shane’s care during his final moments. He treated him with dignity, gentleness, and respect, and he showed me incredible kindness in the midst of my heartbreak. I will always remember how he helped both of us through something so painful. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking not only for excellent medical care, but for truly compassionate people who understand that pets are family.
I usually don’t leave a lot of reviews but I feel like I need to share my experience so other fur parents can read about Edinburgh Animal Hospital. I had a recommendation from a friend that Dr. Campbell could possibly help my 12 lb. Shorkie with a surgery she needed. I made the appointment and I am so glad I listened to her. Dr. Campbell is Amazing. He is probably the nicest, most gentle, genuine vet I have met. He did his examination on our little fur girl and explained everything he found and what he could do to help her. He demonstrated on a 3D version of a leg he had in the room, so we understood the procedure and what it would look like. Dr. Campbell never rushed the conversation and asked us every step of the way if we had questions. He was very gentle with her and talked so sweet to her, she didn’t mind at all the examination. (Usually she wants us to help her and moves around a lot) To me that shows what kind of doctor/person he is. His nurse was very nice and also very informative. Honestly his whole staff is very welcoming, all smiles the whole visit. I saw a fur patient be called and he walked to the room himself. He had no fear and seemed to know exactly what was going on. I have never witnessed anything like that in my whole life.I am not only bringing my fur baby to have surgery, I am switching to Edinburgh for both my fur babies needs..
I would not take my dogs anywhere else. Dr Campbell is the best veterinarian I’ve ever used. He is kind and thorough he listens to your concerns about your pet and expertly treats the condition. The staff is great and always ready to help and answer questions you may have.
Dr. Hundley and her team have been treating our cat, Maple since we adopted her in August 2025! Unfortunately, Maple was diagnosed with FIP, but with their quick diagnosis and treatment options, they literally saved our cats life! We couldn’t be happier with this practice and are grateful to have our Maple girl!
Dr Campbell and his team are top notch. I always feel that they address my concerns . They are always conservative in their treatment knowing just when more aggressive treatment is necessary. You will be hard pressed to find a better vet anywhere. My two Maltese are 15 and 4 and The Vets at Edinburgh are equipped to handle any problem they present with. Im so glad I found this practice..
