(from Google)I have been a loyal customer of this vet clinic for years, but after my most recent experiences, I will no longer be bringing my cats here. I initially brought my cats in for their annual well visits, and one of them had red gums, which I was told might require dental care. They handed me a price sheet for dental services, which I thought was excessive but considered, given the situation. However, things took a turn for the worse shortly after. Within a week, my cat started tilting her head. I brought her back in, expecting to address a possible dental issue, but was shocked when the vet diagnosed her with an ear polyp. Not only was this a misdiagnosis from the original visit, but I had to pay an additional fee for another exam and treatment. Fine, I thought, but at least it was a fix. In two weeks, she was feeling better, but then I was told to bring her back in for a "check-up" and continue the drops. When I asked why, since things seemed fine, it was just another "check." In other words, another chance for them to charge me. Then, things got even worse with my kitten. I brought her in for a standard spay procedure, which I’ve done with my other cats in the past. I’ve never needed a price sheet for this procedure before, as it was always a straightforward service. However, when I arrived, I was handed a price sheet that listed over $650 in charges for a procedure that I know usually costs around $300. I was not informed about this change ahead of time, and this is a blatant example of price gouging. This clinic has taken advantage of my trust and loyalty for the last time. It’s incredibly disappointing to see them prioritizing profit over patient care and honest, transparent pricing. I will not be treated like a walking fee pinata anymore. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
The team at Centennial Animal Hospital is fantastic! It sounds crazy to say this, but my cat actually enjoys going to the vet, he even purrs when he’s there, which is a testament to how gentle, empathetic, and compassionate the staff are. The staff are also very knowledgeable and helpful, even when I call with questions. Valerie, Dr. Fitz, and Jackson are incredible and my cat just adores them! I’m also grateful for everyone else in the back that I don’t see for taking such great care of my boy Lucky! 🍀
Have been coming here for a few months now for my 10 month old puppy, and my just about 10 year old puppy (they haven't actually seen her yet). So far I am very impressed. The staff is friendly, the facility is nice and clean, and pricing seems very fair. Even with my very energetic young dog, they have done a great job working with her!
This is, by far, one of the best animal hospitals in Colorado Springs. From the friendly front desk staff, to the knowledgeable and compassionate techs, and the incredibly talented team of doctors. Doctor Fitzpatrick in particular is amazing, when I brought in my “over the hill” cat, she not only checked her extensively, she also broke down every aspect of the testing they had done to give me a clear understanding of what my options were to keep my cat healthy. She was patient and compassionate when explain pricing, and she helped me find the right diet and supplements that literally saved my cats life. The communication before and after my cats dental surgery made me feel secure in my choice to have her surgery done here, and the techs were all amazing in making sure my questions were answered and I fully understood the breakdown of charges.
For the past nine and a half years, Centennial Animal Hospital has been our family's vet. They have cared for our dog Buddy who has more health issues than I would have thought possible and have helped us as novice cat owners navigate the complexities of cats. When our poor kitty Fiona was struggling with kidney failure, Dr. Mike Stahl let us know that it was time to let her go. They were so kind and compassionate and they have helped us through many challenging situations. In 35 years of having pets, I have never been happier with a veterinarian practice. The docs, the vet techs and the front desk staff are all outstanding, treating us and our pets with kindness, compassion and a sense of humor. I can't recommend them enough, they are the best.
