WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE I adopted a puppy from All Aboard and they offered a free appointment here so we went since it is the closest vet to our house. I wouldn't recommend this vet even for free. Note: They offer support and assistance to adopters which I think would be helpful for a first time pet owner. But I would take their expert opinions with a grain of salt. First: the $$: After our free appointment, we had to come back for vaccines as they wouldn't do vaccines that day and they charged us $75 for a vet exam on the day of the vaccines. Which they had literally just done a vet exam so I'm not sure why we got charged for this, they didn't even actually do a full vet exam at this appointment. So I think the free exam is a sham. Next: VACCINE SPILT ALL OVER THE TABLE: The vet tech spilt the vaccine all over the table while trying to inject it into my puppy, so we will probably have to repeat this vaccine because they weren't even sure if my dog got it but she said "it was probably fine". The Worst Part: We asked about heartworm prevention and they told me they don't do heartworm prevention until 6 months and after a negative HW test. This didn't sound right to us, so we checked with 3 other vets and all were dumbfounded by this and said absolutely puppies should be protected starting at 8 weeks then should be retested 6 months after starting HW prevention.

Dr. Gifford is the absolute best. She always takes the time to make my cat, Pippen feel comfortable and safe. My cat had a urinary behavioral problem that was terribly hard to get to the bottom of. Dr. Gifford worked with Pippen and I on it for over a year. She always listened to my concerns, had ideas on what to try next, and even went out of her way to do her own research on animal behaviorists in the area. Never once did it seem like Dr. Gifford was ready to give up or was tired of my questions. And a year and a half later, my cat’s urinary behavior is gone! I have moved out of state and I am struggling to find Dr’s who are at the same level as her. I truly think there is no one who is better or cares more than Dr. Gifford

At this clinic, they really don’t care about the well-being of pets. I took my dog there twice; they did her check-up and gave her the appropriate vaccines. I brought her back again because I needed them to check her one more time since I was traveling with her and needed a certificate. They didn’t have the flea preventative medication, so I tried to buy it through the Chewy app, but they refused to approve the medication because they said they had to examine my dog again—even though they had already done it twice, all within a period of no more than 3 months. What do they want? Money! That’s all. They don’t care about the pet’s well-being, just about charging for another check-up. How many times do you need to examine my dog to approve a flea preventative medication? I’m attaching images as proof of the times my dog was already examined, and yet they still refused to approve the medication, which they didn’t even have available to sell themselves.

I loved Dr. Gifford. She was kind and spent a lot of time with us. Sadie is very fearful and in the past has had to be taken away from me to be examined. The doctor was able to befriend and calmly examine her with no problem.

We absolutely love coming here. We live in Denver, but the drive is so worth it! Everyone is so kind and they always remember our babies. Dr. Boehmer is so knowledgeable and its very clear that he loves what he does. I trust him 1000% Thank you guys!
