Sun-Surf Animal Hospital

I’ve been taking my dogs to Sun Surf since I moved down here 8 years ago. They’ve gone through some changes over the years, including different vets, but I went yesterday with one of my dogs and had such a great experience with Dr. Sal. He was probably the nicest vet I’ve come across. He was honest, straightforward, and didn’t try to push anything on me. He didn’t guess, make things up, or give me BS answers. In fact, he actually advised me to hold off on spending the money on additional testing because he didn’t feel it was necessary at this point. And honestly, that is unheard of. When a vet (or doctor) tells you that you don’t need to spend money on something, it builds so much trust. It’s such a good feeling to leave the vet with some answers — maybe not all of them — but knowing you weren’t pushed into doing XYZ just so they could make a buck. I really appreciated his honesty and the way he handled everything. Definitely wanted to give Dr. Sal a shoutout! 🐾❤️

Great experience! We brought in our 9week old weiner dog for his first ever check up and he left very happy :) Everyone was SO friendly and welcoming ❤️ felt very at home the very first time! Also love the pharmacy delivery and chewy price matching is awesome!

I have been bringing my dogs here for years and I love how personal and affordable it is! Just recently my dog had a very big health scare and they were so great helping me navigate through it all! Dr. Jay is the best and all of the staff members are so kind and helpful!

My cat hates the vet and my cat doesn't like to be without my company. Well he went in for a teeth cleaning and they were very good with him. The receptionist was very helpful and nice and the staff was very good. I would definitely take my cat here again. Although the waiting room is a little too small, but I wasn't there for long.
