5 stars! Great service and an amazing selection of dogs and cats looking for loving homes. The staff was friendly, helpful, and clearly cares about the animals. If you’re looking to add a new member to your family, I highly recommend checking out Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley first. Wonderful experience all around!

The vet team is so nice they treated my baby so well and help so much I can put into words how grateful I am to the team , thank you guys again and if your wondering were to take your fur babies i definitely would recommend.

It’s nice inside and clean, but we drove three hours to get there, we walked in and the front lady was super nice told us all about the application process and other stuff. We went to the back and the lady’s in the back kept walking away from my fiancé and I when we were asking about a dog, then we went up front and wouldn’t allow us to look at the dog or put an application in Becuase they closed in 40 minutes. It’s very clear most of the workers don’t care about the animals getting adopted and only care about the money. If you don’t have a passion for animals and helping them find forever homes don’t work with them.

Most compassionate staff ever! All of them care deeply for and about the animals. Hannah allowed us time to make a decision on a cat whom has now become our family member. Hannah is kind, professional and truly loves what she does as exemplified by her character and commitment to these precious animals. Love the girl who volunteers her time reading to the animals! What a lovely, selfless act. All of the shelter staff take pride in keeping the Center clean, ensuring the animals are properly cared for, and giving the animals the attention they deserve. Thank you to all for your compassion, love and respect!! We hope to find a friend for our newly adopted gal!

Really great place. I haven't adopted a dog from them yet but they have a very nice set up for greeting the dogs. The cat area is pretty spectacular, kittens are mostly kept separate from larger cats in large temporary holding pens. With a private 1 on 1 room and also a full cat room for the adults. You can watch them interact and play with them before adding a friend to your family. You can tell the volunteers who have been there awhile and the new ones, but you can always tell they love the animals.
