(from Google)Very caring and professional. My dog did not have a good experience with her last vet appointment in Fairbanks Alaska but the vet and technician were very gentle with her. Love the staff at North Polk veterinary hospital! 10 out of 10!
I cant say enough good things about these people! The office staff was all supportive and amazing. Never made us feel bad or seemed annoyed because we called 2-3 times to check on our puppy. The doctor truly cares about the animals and it shows. I dont know what the bad reviews on here are about. I will use them every time and will recommend them always.
The LEAST money hungry people ever. Haley, Ashley, McKenzie, and Tyler were all so helpful everytime we called to check on our puppy!! The doctor is so incredibly amazing! Honestly all of them are super nice, super helpful, answered all of our questions! It’s rare to find a vet who prioritizes the well-being of pets the way they do here. You can tell this is someone who truly loves what they do.
I have no idea how to begin…. I am so grateful for the support I’ve gotten in this location I’ve have my baby sky since he was 3 months old never had any big problems with him. Unfortunately it happened 6 years later we had a problem and it came at a time when we couldn’t afford it, we finally got to a point where we were able to buy our first home with a beautiful yard for our dog sky. that is literally the first thing we thought about we were so excited, our boys started baseball and we bought and paid for what was necessary and we stared making arrangements to get our savings back in place and then our dog sky gets sick. We take him to urgent vet and they dig and dig and we say yes and yes them knowing they don’t even take care of his situation there continued to take our money. Sky went 2 weeks sick with what turned out to be an obstruction. I went to N polk animal hospital with the hope to get help, once I reached my limit I was ready to end my dogs suffering but doctor Y wasn’t having it he decided to heal him anyway to continue to try. I am so grateful for this staff everyone made me feel so good about my dog I thought I was going to have to let him go, even the SPCA refused to help me I was lost. My baby isn’t out of the woods just yet but because of people like Dr y, Ashley, Tyler, Bianca, Rachel my boy got a chance he ate a little from my sons hand today and I cried, your circumstances can change sometimes.. these people here get that! I’m so thankful and when I’m able to donate it will be to this facility.
Doc Weirather is a wonderful vet. He is kind, caring and compassionate and does everything he can to make sure your pet is taken care of. As others have made comments on other reviews and sites, the place could use some fresh paint, etc. but It's an old building. I'd go see Doc Y at a dirty barn if it meant him caring for my animals. He's not a vet to get rich. He truly cares about animals and people and makes his prices affordable. He's also a wonderful surgeon and on most nights is at the clinic until way past dark caring for and seeing patients. If you saw how hard he worked and how exhausted he is on some nights, with still more patients to see, you would be truly touched. I will never forget the kindness shown by doc Y and his staff when my baby Bella needed help. They all showed up on their day off and they did everything they could to save her. Unfortunately she still passed away but I will be forever grateful for their effort. There are no words to express my gratitude. I feel truly blessed to have found this vet, especially being so close to my house and the fact that I have 8 dogs and 2 cats. I wish there were more humans like him. Also, he’s a wonderful role model. My daughter wants to be a vet and she deeply respects him and appreciates and notices his sacrifice and kindness.
