The only vet I take my Bella to. We had a semi emergency yesterday and they had her right in and taken care of in less than an hour. I love Coastal Animal Clinic

Not only was I charged nearly double what I normally pay for this injection, but I was also told to bring my dog in for a treatment that had already been administered by the same clinic just one week earlier. That level of oversight is completely unacceptable. When I questioned it, the receptionist responded, “I’m just relaying the message.” That response demonstrated a complete lack of concern for my dog’s well-being and gave the impression that generating additional revenue was a higher priority than providing competent care. To make matters worse, I was specifically told that I would not be charged for a veterinarian visit because I was only coming in for an injection. Yet I was still billed for a separate “nurse visit” fee. At every step, it felt like additional charges were being added despite assurances to the contrary. To make matters worse, even after 2 doctors visit, my dog is getting progressively worse. As a pet owner, I expect accurate medical records, clear communication, and honest billing practices. Unfortunately, my experience reflected none of those standards.

Up until today I’ve taken my pets here for 10 years. I am extremely upset by the lack of care from some of the staff. I have been actively had him treated for his lack of appetite and today was quoted over $200 more for X rays which I had declined over the weekend and were quoted cheaper then. I think that’s absolutely insane to do to a patient who has already invested hundreds into their pets care in the matter of days. Dr Mike has always been great but I have never liked Dr. Carter since she’s been a vet here. I feel she preys on fear and uses trigger words to cause anxiety. This is now the second and last negative experience from her.

This establishment was good until it wasn’t. I unfortunately i had put down my dog, the doctor on duty had absolutely no compassion at all. Due to aggression they sedated him( fully asleep and out), and again and the doctor still didn’t feel safe so sedated again, due to all the sedation our poor pup was whining and whimpering scared, until the doctor finally went through with the euthanasia and still had a nurse hold our dogs head tight against her body, no comfort at all. i will never recommend or go here again. this doctor is always adding stuff to your visit that isn’t necessary and saying it is required and everything he can do to up your overall bill at the end of the visit. NEVER EVER TTUST THEM OR GO HERE.

Best vet clinic we’ve ever been to. So caring and the follow up is superior. We drive an hour to go here with our fur babies because they’re so amazing. Five stars isn’t even close to what I’d give them.
