(from Google)I am sharing this because no pet owner should experience what happened to my dog, Halle Berry. On April 1, 2026 I brought Halle to AVECCC Arizona Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care because she was not acting like herself. I trusted this emergency facility to care for her. I was there for over four hours while Halle was in an oxygen box. I was told she was stable and that her breathing had improved. At some point the doctor made the decision to remove her monitor so it could be used for another patient. During that time, about 15 minutes, a technician discovered that Halle had stopped breathing. CPR was started, but it was too late. I never got to say goodbye to her or hold her in those final moments. Since that night I have requested her medical records through email, certified mail, and by leaving a written request at the front desk. I still do not have clear answers about what happened. Halle was my family, my companion, and my shadow through some of the hardest moments in my life. She deserved proper monitoring and care. I share this so other pet owners will ask questions about monitoring, staffing, and emergency protocols when bringing their pets to this facility.
The girls were amazing and they informed me on what was going to happen next. My Lil pup had to be put down but the very was amazing in informing me and giving me options on what to do. They are amazing I highly recommend them!!
Received good care, reason for such a low rating is the amount of time waisted waiting around for nothing . After my dog was seen and I was consulted still waisted 2.5 hours for absolutely nothing. The Dr was great. I was there 8 hours total. For my dog to have a stool sample and given RX for diarrhea.
