Horrible experience schedule for spay 9am called at 12. I was told my dog was prepped to go next. Called at 1:30. I was told that my dog was going to be prepped to go next. Lied to me twice. Crated my dog 5 hours acte fasting from night before since 9pm. Lost trust picked up my dog no service. Don’t take ur pets there! They don’t care about animals!

This was such an awful experience for me and my girl. The first visit is free because they don’t do anything on the first visit. Candace Johnson didn’t lay a hand on my girl. I brought her there for nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea She would have needed to at least examine her to find out what was wrong instead she brought her in the back and gave her a B12 shot (allegedly). I also brought in a stool sample to be sent out to see if she had parasites. Michelle told me it would be 24 to 48 hours to get the results when I called after 48 hours she told me it could be up to a week I told her that that was unacceptable and went into their office the next day they printed out a piece of paper in front of me that showed she did not have any parasites. I don’t believe they ever sent out her sample and that this paper was bogus. In addition, the office is filthy. The staff is not knowledgeable at all and not very friendly. What a shame.

We had an appointment to establish care for our new dog set for 10:30AM. We arrived early since it was his first time in this new place. Our initial interaction with the front office was fine. We were roomed but were left sitting and waiting for 45 minutes after our appointment time until someone finally came in to inform us that the doctor was finishing up a surgery. We were offered to reschedule the appointment but opted to wait another 10 minutes because the vet tech said the doctor might be out in that time. Unfortunately, the doctor still wasn’t available and we left our appointment after an hour of waiting. Communication early on would have been more appropriate and we wouldn’t have left feeling terrible about this interaction.

Very disappointed. We called the clinic multiple times to confirm that Dr. Arzumanyan would see us. On the day of the visit, we were told again that everything was fine. Took the day off, came to the clinic — and the doctor wasn’t working that day! No one informed us. This is not how a professional clinic should operate.

Dr A and his team took great care of our very sick girl. She was being doggy sat for a week so we don’t know what made her so sick but she dehydrated and needed immediate care. For 2 days she was given excellent care and we were notified of everything that was happening. She’s now home, being treated outpatient and doing fantastic, thanks to everyone at Balboa Veterinary Medical Center
